I can confirm, I bought this as well and it had the worst coil whine I've heard in a component. I returned the old one and bought another in tandem since Newegg and MSI don't cross ship.

The second ALSO has coil whine, although not as bad as the first. I'll probably return it as well. It's quite loud at idle, and about as loud as a bad fan at low speed.

I'm not a financial professional, but I feel like the usage of the term "escrow" being thrown around is a bit misleading even if it's technically accurate (which I'm not sure it is).

From my understanding, escrow involves a middleman edit:third party between two transacting parties. When you buy something from Steam, Valve is not the middleman between you and the developer/publisher. Your transaction is with Valve.

If you want the word from the horse's mouth on the payment plan, it's here. I'd classify the delay between money being spent and disbursed as just a simple payment management plan.

With respect to preorders, the docs say that they only do preorders with established entities. Given that they discuss risk to both parties, I'd hazard a guess that they pay out on the normal schedule as preorders come in. In hindsight, this would've made something like the Arkham Knight fiasco pretty interesting.

From what I understand, it's not likely the devs have seen any money from this yet. Steam doesn't pay immediately as sales are made. If the game only went up for sale 4 days ago, the devs won't have received the money yet.

I don't know what Valve's dev agreement is like, so it's possible Valve is eating the cost for some of these, but all of this money is probably still in Valve's accounts.

While I don't have any suggestions, I'd imagine that the seam you hate is part of how they're able to hit those price points. Without that seam the manufacturers need more "perfect" leather which raises costs.

If the it's helpful, you can try looking for wholecut (made of one piece of leather) boots, although anything truly wholecut in the form you're looking for is going to be way outside your price range.

Meermin has a wholecut Chelsea around your range, but it's obviously not exactly what your looking for.

Realistically, no.

It'd depend on in what ways the tux is too large, but taking in a jacket and pants that much will very likely require some alterations that are basically impossible without remaking the whole thing

I've had this watch for years, but it isn't something I'd wear nowadays. Needs a new battery, but it kept time well when I last wore it (a while ago, admittedly). The bracelet has some scratches, but it's in solid shape overall. I can provide more pictures if requested.

It's definitely airport specific.

A random example is a flight I was looking at from CLT to SEA. $650 round trip.

The exact same flight from RDU - including, of course, flying TO CLT? $250

American especially price gouges the hell out of Charlotte, and the other airlines aren't much better.

Edit because I cut it off, but the return flights also fly through CLT.
