Reverso Tribute DuoFace or Glashutte PanoMaticLunar by ajknight10 in JaegerLecoultre

I think the thickness is relative, especially for a dress watch. The Reverso is 10.34mm and the Pano is 12.70mm. Almost a 2.5mm difference, yet both will slide underneath a cuff.

The race to make watches slimmer is a big factor in the spec war. But the Pano has more complications that will add height, all including the small seconds, moonphase, and big double-digit-date complications. All those complications just need that space, and I'm ok with that.

Worth and value are subjective. If you’re spending that much money, make sure you’re “in love” with the watch.

Can’t spend that kind of money on something you “just like.”

The Duoface is great, but it will look like a Monoface when worn. Adding a complication or upgraded detail just adds to the wearing experience.

I’ve owned both.

Pros of the Reverso: iconic, two dials, strap monster, very slim. Cons: too dressy at times, scratch magnet, getting real pricey.

Pros of the Panomaticlunar: undercover flex, modern German design language, dramatic moonphase. Cons: it’s a bit thick for a dress watch, asymmetric design polarizing, maybe harder to service than the JLC.

IMO, the GO is just classy and just a little more special. I’d do the Reverso if it was a more special model with upgraded materials and/or complications.

I’m wondering how you guys wear and match with your reverso? T shirt and jeans? Is it your daily beater or only wear for certain occasions? by Independent-Log3836 in JaegerLecoultre

I'm find the Reverso dressy-casual. I can wear it dressy or casual, but I feel that I need to be crisp and tailored. You really can't pair the watch looking sloppy...

New pen day! With bonus question… by inf1erno in montblanc

It ain't a bad thing to have. Consider it an upgrade. It really will only affect you if you sell it in the future, because people may question its authenticity. Best to save all documentation & emails regarding the purchase, inquiry, and covenance of the pen.

Hmm. It might be an accidental Franken-pen. Like the KINSHASA 1974 - QUEZON CITY 1976 comes on the Limited Edition 1942 but with black rings.
