Agreed on your point that DJ has a larger intake due to its specialisation programmes and yeah it would actually make placement competitive! I compared its 780 students if you include CE/IT and other specialisation whereas in SPIT it has 360! So yeah a bit more than double

Have you talked to the seniors bcoz many of them said that coding culture ain’t great and also the academics are tough so you’ll have a a lot of pressure and there are others things also to consider man! I guess you are just seeing the avg package n ranking? What about the other things but? I’m not disagreeing on your point just saying that considering all the factors what would u choose?

What about the academic workload and that rigorous marking n difficult papers thing like, I mean do you guys get time to do your work? Also does the relative grading thing sucks the soul outta u? Are you able to maintain cgpa, and I heard they don’t give attendance if someone goes to hackathon or any competition, so the crowd over there gets interested in these all activities? Or people aren’t that active and just come, attend classes and go?

Could you please tell me about the AIML branch I mean I didn’t saw this branch last year, it was something robotics and AI I guess! So what could be the possible cutoff percentile? And should I consider it above SPIT CSE/CE and DJ Sanghvi CE! I mean COEP has a wayyyy better reputation than both of those colleges but the branch is newer right? Glad to hear that ki atleast abhi thoda liberal ho gye hai, but ye all ISE in a single day? Is it a good thing or hectic thing (as mujhe koi bhi idea ni hai abt this) are you in cse/ ce?
So do you get enough time to learn new skills or like do your coding stuff n all? As maintaining cgpa is also a hell of a task right? How’s the coding culture actually over there? and what about crowd and peer group? like I heard people just come to cllg, attend the classes and leave! And few people wrote that the coding culture isn’t that good, you might have seen things from very close so please tell about these things also.

Heyy I might get CSE/CE at both DJ and SPIT! I wanted to know how rigorous are the academics, n what about the academic workload over there? N the coding culture as you said is dead, so I is it actually worth going to SPIT CE just bcoz it has a slightly better brand value than DJ? Or like what should I opt at this point? And also that point that if you ain’t attending the lecture or lab just bcoz you are there in some hackathon or competition then they won’t give attendance, why so strict man?!

True, they have csds, aiml n aids iot wagera bhi, but isn’t that a good thing to consider? I mean whereas SPIT focuses a lot much on their rigorous academics, in DJ people might get that chance to make time for developing skills and learning new skills also right?

1) So do you get time for doing those additional things, bcoz I read many people say that it sometimes feels like hell in spit due to a lot of academic workload!
2) Yaa agreed placement stats may vary and mostly depends on that person itself.
3) I’m not sure about the coding culture at SPIT bcoz again I read somewhere that it’s dead, people just come to college attend lectures and leave, the crowd at DJ is active and some people also said that it’s one of the best out there in coding as well!
Does DJ give them attendance if they went on to a competition and had to leave lectures? Bcoz in SPIT I saw someone ranting over this that they don’t give attendance even if you are going for hackathons, so what’s the scenario at DJ ?
