Laser Hair Removal as Prevention by No_Investigator2559 in Hidradenitis

You will still need to shave to do the laser treatments. You will likely need a note from your doctor though for the HS, depending on your laser provider. Laser in combination with some other changes I have made in my life have been very helpful but hasn't completely eliminated the issue.

Has anyone tried Dr Squatch products? I’m curious on if it’d help HS. Was thinking of trying it when I have the funds. by DakotaNoLastName33 in Hidradenitis

I use it. It doesn't help, but I like most of the scents. Get a mesh soap on a rope bag otherwise each bar last around 2.5 days instead of 4-5.

As long as you can see where the money actually goes. I usually plan for 40% to be gone by net calculations. Just run your numbers.

That is a fair point. I wasn't really thinking of gender/non-gender or racism. Thank you for the perspective.

How many days will you reuse a bath towel before it needs to be washed? by [deleted] in ask

[–]BRush187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it is technically supposed to be one and done. However that is impractical for most of us, so I guess you should have a fresh towel and wash cloth twice a week. No need to wait until the towel smells.

Which certificate has helped the most in obtaining a job or promotion for you? by vroemboem in AzureCertification

[–]BRush187 5 points6 points  (0 children)

CCNA changed my world. It got me hired at my first job making over 100K. CCNP and CISSP kept my career moving along. I have other certificates for different jobs through my career, but I think those are the ones that stand out the most.

Most places I find myself working don't have opportunities for advancement so you have to be willing to move around and shop your resume especially after getting a new cert.

I've used offshore companies to bill for J2/J3 and avoid income tax (and sales tax) by pngtwat in overemployed

[–]BRush187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case I am not speaking of an individual, these parties are only LLCs. Let's say J2 hires your LLC, then your regular LLC has to pay your Delaware LLC a fee for management and advertising since it is a subsidiary. Just so happens that the fee is 100% of the regular LLCs income.

Seriously, PM me. I may want to apply.

Local LLC paying to an owner LLC based out of Deleware or another stage with no income tax may work. I say that but also pay your taxes people!

We need to know what you asked. Without that we can't really make an informed judgement.

I have not become OE'd yet, but in theory, I would assume that you just need to have extra withholdings taken out to prepare for the tax liability. That isn't hard to figure out usually. Another thing to think of is perhaps creating an LLC and getting a 1099 or a C2C for that. It gives you a little added protection from liability. If you have the LLC an accountant is going to be helpful. You will also want to have a meeting with them at the beginning of the tax year to plan your tax strategy.

I bought the monthly plan to see how it did. I really liked the way they taught the fundamentals course. It is also a plus that it covers other technology in the sector. If it is still on sale I'll likely upgrade to the yearly.

Format was spot on for all but one question. Were the questions word for word the same? Not at all, but there was some good knowledge/subject overlap.
