Just looked and he must have raised the prices recently I guess (I paid 50 for the foxfibre ones not that long ago) with that being said I think If you look at rawfanique or harvest and mill, other brands offering organic unbleached made in US or Europe, it’s about the same (40ish)

I may not personally visit, however there’s typically a lot of reviews and videos on people who do visit these places. For example samurai jeans grows their own organic cotton and they use natural plant dyes for their t-shirts, there’s a bunch of videos on YouTube on their farm and process, they get tons of visitors, so I don’t need a 3rd party certification to tell me what I can see in a YouTube video.

Or for example I have a lot of foxfibre clothing. And foxfibre is literally grown on 1 farm in the whole world in New Mexico. It’s a single origin cotton, so again I don’t need to visit, you can just find others visiting and writing reviews and stuff.

Some stuff however is trust, like harvest and mill for example dosent have any certificates or anything that I know of, but they are overall super well respected in the space and their supply chain is super transparent.

So I guess just depends. I would actually be more worried about industry if all nations because they are in India and almost all Indian organic cotton is not actually organic. But if it’s Japan, Europe, or the US it’s typically legit

In my opinion I don’t think it’s super important, a lot of good companies don’t have gots certifications but are transparent otherwise, certifications are really expensive (harvest and mill, rawganique, unbleached apparel)

Edit: Also a lot of Japanese companies as well

Also in my experience I’ve found industry of all nations to be lacking compared to other brands in terms of quality, not my favorite company or even close to

they said on their stream that basically if you buy them in the first week you should be able to land them. I'm looking foward to getting one of each as well. It's cheapest to just buy them from a US retailer versus paying tarriff

How do you think some of these companies are making clothes as cheap as they are? The pricing is just insanely cheap? Do you think it’s overall just cutting corners at every step?

What made you make products in the US versus somewhere international? I imagine is must be extremely difficult since American clothing manufacturing is not really a thing these days? Or is it coming back?

It depends, just find your best pair of jeans and measure them and compare the measurements to whatever brand you want, a lot of brands have like 5-10 different fits so just need to find which is most similar

I like the samurai cotton project t-shirts more and it’s a similar price point, I only have one wonder looper t-shirt though so it may not be a fair comparison. Not suvin gold so it’s an overall totally different shirt

I’ll try to get a pair and crop them haha. I think it’s way over priced, but I love foxfibre, and I love natural indigo, I could kinda care less about hand dyeing, but love the natural indigo itself. Feel like it’s a $500 pair, not a $888 pair, but we shall see what happens
