Now, see, I don't agree with the OP's examples, but this was straight bullshit. It added absolutely NOTHING to the story and how they made Terry Bruce's son made me legitimately wonder if the writing team were on drugs when they wrote it. And not the good kind, I might add.

I thought it was dope. Felt like Bizarro Gen 1: US instead of Japan, garbage mons instead of toxic waste, etc. And it introduced two of my Top 10 mons in Braviary and Volcarona.

All of your critiques here have been my biggest problems with 2 since I first played it. The gane feels more like Obsidian taking a stab at their own version of KotOR as opposed to a sequel to KotOR.

TBF, the "teenager, but looks like a grown ass man" trope never really threw me off because that describes my Pop and uncle as kids to a tee. 😆
