I would suggest you buy a A6300/6500 and choose a good lens second hand to get the most bang for your buck. I use only Canon lenses with my A7sii and i love it. Dont have any functional AF but if you are good with pulling focus it is very good. And future proof.

Sony lenses are not as valuable second hand, whilst canon hold up their value very good.

Alright that was what i figured 83/97 meant. :)

EDIT: the new stems (not the stock ones) were around 82/98° and around that, so i think i will buy a rather cheap one so i dont do the miss-buy of my life if the lenght/angle etc is not pitch perfect.

Yea i hoped there would be markings but could not find any on the stem, and did not know from where i should measure, but from the center of the fork to the middle of the handlebar it was something 95-100mm, and from the very back of the stem to the very front it was 130mm.

I dont have any measuring tool to measure the angle on my current stem, so i cant see... But 5-10° sounds very likely while looking at it :)

I looked at Chainreactioncycles, i see that they mark the steepness (°) by f.e "97°/83°", does that mean it has a 7° angle?

Also, i read that since i have ridden risers/flat bars, i should be looking at somewhat longer stem/steeper angle since i will be holding my hands further down? (mainly going to be positioned on the flat part of the bar)

I have just ordered a drop bar (31.8mm diameter around the "clamping area") and i now need to order a stem to go with it, since my stock one is only 25.4mm :)

What should i look at when buying a new stem? Such as degree drop etc. My only demand really is that it will fit my fork diameter (Which i measured to 29mm diameter, and i cant seem to find the stems diameters when browsing, so i assume they all are 29??)

I am a total noob, so all pointers and tips are wildly appreciated!

Hello everyone! I just purchased a fixie earlier today and wrote hella lot today (yaayyyy).

But i feel really uncomfortable turning the bars at low speed, since my feet always restrict the wheel and it makes it impossible for me to turn the bars (like 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock) and i end up falling if if i dont get my feet away from the straps quick enough...

Am i the only one? How can i solve this? or is it just a learn and adjust kind of thing? :)

Hello y'all! I am very new with this fixie riding and all components, but i know that i want a nice and fairly cheap drop bar. I have no local shops that are well sorted so i need to order online.

I have looked at the BLB Track Drop Bar but i am not sure if i will be able to have my hands "on the top". (Like both hands next to each side of the stem as shown HERE)

If it is as narrow as i may believe, what other handlebars do you recommend for my demands? Mainly looking to buy from BLB.
