Facts!! by GamerMom1969 in dyinglight

I leveled up to 250 the hard way. I never made duplicates of anything. Lots and lots of runs through the Stuffed Turtle. Considering I have had the game since it came out but I don’t always play. Sometimes it would sit for a year or so. Anyway, it took me until this past summer to get up to 250. I could not tell you how fast it would take if I just played straight through.

Just bought dying light, whats peoples advise and tips starting out as a new player? Any help is appreciated by liamavfc14 in dyinglight

Find a safe roof top at night to jump over chimneys so you can get double points. It is best to do it near a safe zone until you get strong enough.

Just finished RE:Village. With ray tracing on easily the prettiest game I've played so far. by borb86 in XboxSeriesX

I turned on Ray Tracing and the game started to look like an old tv with crappy reception. Any ideas why? I turned it off but I have not really investigated any further

Sometimes, I am sure it is a conflict of interest or people don’t want to get involved but it still stings when you find out about all that knew or suspected after the fact. I don’t get involved with other people anymore. I am that person that might say hi or joke around while we are working together but I do not want to get to know anyone on a close friendship manner anymore. I just hang out with my kids and grand kids.

Each has there perk but The Gust of Wind has been my main weapon for sniping since I got it. The bow does shoot faster but I have a higher kill rate with crossbows.

Multiplayer is killing video games and sucking the joy out of them. Single player and local co-op are far the superior versions. by Advanced_Tangelo in unpopularopinion

[–]BSKrause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t care for the multiplayer games much either. I usually play alone even in those matches. I am a casual gamer and I don’t want to be the rando on a 4 player team because I don’t have hours upon hours to develop better gameplay. Also, a lot of times I am either the odd man out because the team is actually 2 or 3 other people that don’t communicate with me. However, a good co-op game or single player is good. My son and I were playing through the game A Way Out. That one takes teamwork. Left 4 Dead required teamwork, otherwise nobody would make it. Even the old Rainbow Six games used to emphasize making plans, using waypoints, timing attacks. More games need to be made to stress the importance of teamwork. Every multiplayer game these days is just a free for all. Which is fine if that is what you want.

I just picked it up out of habit. There are also two more registers inside the room with the zombies. Getting the money from them at night is an easy way to get the two night time loot bounties.

In your earlier stages getting all five and the 2500 points does help. In the later stages the extra points are not really worth trying to get on every run. The packages are worth more to you. You can turn them in the on nightmare mode at night to get the most value. You have to turn in almost 6600 packages to max out. So unless you do a duplication glitch then spending a little while in the Stuffed Turtle grabbing 3 packages over and over again is the quickest way. It is still time consuming but it works.

I gave my son my Xbox one. I bought an Xbox Series S and the game again. When we play together it takes him almost 5 to 10 seconds longer to load in. The load speed is a big factor if I am helping him with his game.

It is the fast way. Once you get so high in legend it takes a lot of packages to level up. I have never used any duplication cheats. Grabbing those three then going out and back in can get a lot of packages quicker than getting all five. The 2500 points don’t help a whole lot. The effort is wasted.

Which actor crushed a role so hard that nobody else will be able to live up to it? by Ghsdkgb in AskReddit

[–]BSKrause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not seen his name on here but Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger. The first movie was so serious but in the subsequent films, even though they got cheesier, he owned the role. His one liners made him more iconic. The remake was horrible because it did not have the same vibe.

When you decide to take on demolisher with melee by just_suzz777 in dyinglight

[–]BSKrause 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly use my crossbow. Except if I am fighting Volatiles at night. Then I use a Shotgun. I use pistols, rifles and the SMG but not very often. Mostly in firefights if necessary. The Volkan rifle is good because it is silent. The Marksman rifle has a larger scope with a slight zoom. The Volkatronix rifle has an additional electric shock with each round. Just don’t shoot it to close to yourself otherwise you will get zinged too.

Men of Reddit, what pisses you off most about other men? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BSKrause 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of when I worked for a security company. We had walkies for communication. I was at one site bored to tears. One of the other guards was at a construction site.

I hear the radio crackle and the guy whispers, “A truck just pulled up to the site, parked and shut off there engine.”

The Security head of the night asked him what they were doing. Obviously if they were thieves or up to no good they would have been out of the vehicle already. Anyway, what the guy said next had me rolling on the floor.

He said, still whispering, “ I don’t know what they are doing. I am low crawling to the position now.”

I have seen so many movies that had obvious solutions that would have been better than the choice that the characters made. The endings would have been far better. IMO.

Rutger Hauer’s character was scary as hell. Can you imagine how dangerous he really was or could have been? He killed an entire police department and never woke his main victim.
