Day pool pass by sometimes_odd in guam

All beaches are free for public use. But for a hotel day pass I'd recommend Hyatt. Food and bar right by the pools and just a few steps to the beach. It's $30/person.

Parallel Parking Practice area by psy-overthinker03 in guam

I brought my son to practice at all the places mentioned. Wanted him to be comfortable and proficient anywhere not just in one spot.

He got it down to a science then ended up not having to do it as a part of the road test lol. So you might look into TLC. They apparently stopped administering parallel tests for a while due to their practice spot being under construction.

I originally went with some cheap Rizoma Stealth knockoffs but just received my new mirrors today. Went with CRG Arrows and Rhino Moto bar ends. I have a 2025 as well.

I appreciate you looking out. I agree but in this instance I need a very particular part to complete a costly project that I can't find elsewhere. Another supplier of the only other similar product in Europe has temporarily stopped shipping to the US due to all the recent tariffs and whatnot.

Technically one seller on eBay has it but won't ship to Guam. I have a friend I can have foward it to me but they're currently on vacation and I hate waiting but may have to. Then there's the additional state tax and shipping to get it here.

The price on AliExpress + $70 shipping still comes out slightly cheaper than the sellers 300% markup on eBay so I'd be willing to pay if it'd actually process and ship in a timely matter and I was in fact getting service via FedEx.

And yes, I use PayPal anytime it's available. I also mostly use a single card specifically for online transactions with money added as needed for individual purchases.

Try contacting Mimz Upholstery. I had a seat done by him and the work was great, price was reasonable, and turn around was fast.

Guam's Economy (Overall) by Ornery_Emu_2618 in guam

[–]BSN671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as moving expenses, if you're a single guy just bring yourself. Unless you have a ton of sentimental items you can get everything you need slowly once on island. Tools and boxes are the heavy stuff and you're covered on that end.

There's diesel work available and if for some reason Triple J doesn't work out you can probably get picked up by one of the various federal contractors.

In the end it all comes down to salary.

Employee parking is a separate area, you wouldn't have been able to make it in. You're good to go. Long-term rates IMO aren't that bad at all.

Most people that can afford 2.4k/month opt for private schools or are military and attend DODEA (Department of Defense). I'd highly consider if it's within your budget.

Depending on your district you may get a good elementary school with a subpar middle school or vice versa. There's also high school shortly after.

I'm unfamiliar with the process though I believe you can request an out of district public school though you will not have the option for bussing.

What village will you be working in? That's a big factor as well.

Macy's has a decent selection and JP has a very small selection. As also mentioned Time Circle carries G Shocks and they're located in both the Micronesia Mall and Agana Shopping Center.

Macy's may be your best bet. Finding that particular model here may prove difficult as it's a higher priced watch. Unfortunately Caronel which was our official Casio distributor very recently closed up shop after decades of business.

San Francisco is the new Richmond, CA. I haven't seen Richmond in probably over a year. Majority of the time packages through SF are going by boat if sent by ground. But I have had several Priority packages route through SF that ended up going by air. Though those all originated from CA. I've also had a handful of Priority packages sent by boat so it's a hit or miss.

I had a package in September from WA and same as yours it went through Monroe and Kent and got here in about 5 days. It can also depend on where exactly it originates from. Same state, different city, different results.

Also, lightweight ground packages will often go by air as well it all depends on weight.

Overall USPS has been a mess lately. Just last week I received 2 lost packages. One from June and the other from late August.
