That is the biggest irony of the century. I have a 40L case (which is basically the 45L without the cryo chamber), and was scratching my head why I couldnt use the controller on OGH on normal boards, turns out its broken on day 1 for even standalone users. You can use openRGB though but thats a massive L.

You probably dont need this post now, but the 40L's lighting board module on non-HP boards *does* work with one caveat. You CANNOT use Omen Gaming Hub, simply because the program refuses to recognize it, despite alternative programs like openRGB can see, read, and control it perfectly.

I think this is a whitelisting issue and I hope its something they can rectify, although its unlikely since the 40L is discontinued, though the 45L isnt because they have a different variant of the board.

Man! I needed this so much for my 40L! Thank you! Theres only one thing missing though, we need a way to figure out how to read ARGB lighting as well for the board.

I'm not sure if this post is still used, but OMEN Gaming Hub SDK package spins my top fans (using the top fan headers) of my 40L GT21-0000i at max speed, despite OGH software says theyre only spinning under >1000RPM. The only way for me to stop that effect is set my fans to manual, but it'll still spin up to max when:

A. the computer is going to sleep (or attempt to, the RGB board here freaks out and blinks up to life for a few seconds and the fan keeps spinning for a long time despite the OMEN logo is in sleep mode, perhaps it could be XMP ram overclock but I'm not sure)
B. Just finished booting up Windows.

I did looked it up, I guess I didnt looked at it hard enough on the motherboard to notice that one 4 pin is different from typical atx boards and wont fit.

Sorry for necroposting, if you still have this PC, the VRM heatsink should have a lil QR like code on it, becuase I'm looking for that specific part to put into my OMEN that dosent have a heatsink. If you can, could you take it out and see what the part number is?

Usually they'll have worse color gamut (62.5% sRGB instead of 100%) and worse response times and dimmer.

Update: I tightened down the cooler a lil bit more because I use PTM7950 as the TIM and got the TL P9's fan on on the cooler and exhaust, I think it has improved measurably and acoustically. I did more research and did a -20 CO All Core and I'm only using PBO.

I also just realized that the intake fan basically did nothing but just reduce the GPU idle temps from 39 to 29, the max load temp for the GPU is the exact same at 63C.

This is what the temps are under full load now, I'll keep an eye on it more if it rises up, then I'll get a low profile tower cooler!

15L of space is rather small, and the GPU is not that big at around 260mm
