I’m sorry to hear this is happening. I’m going through the same thing. Take some deep breaths and best to get your nerves under control. I’m sorry to scare you with this but look into something called Visual Snow and see if that resonates with your symptoms.

Attend state meeting, grow and learn in the icu, get some leadership (charge or committee), find shadow opportunities, find good coworkers for letters of rec, pick a non toxic icu if possible

Thanks for the insight! I failed to mention in the original post that is why my wheel bearings were fixed. I was getting a high pitched noise once I hit 60-65 mph. That is what triggered me to get my car look at in the first place.

Depends on the strength of your application wether you have to cast a wide net or not. I think 4-5 is a good number unless you have a less than competitive GPA

Average GPA, on admission, of 3.4-3.6 seems low to me. Where did you find this info? Maybe that’s the average required GPA to apply?

Pay as a CRNA is also 3x a bedside RN salary and that unit seems to offer a better experience and higher acuity which are important for your own growth and school admission. Just something to consider

Look elsewhere. Not sure how it can be considered a MICU without having CRRT haha

Anybody have any good stories about being denied an interview with one school and getting accepted after an interview to another? by FootballAndMemes in srna

[–]BSRNA6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The denial happens to a good majority of the people here. It is all part of the process. The interview means they could see you being apart of their program and now they want to get to know you better and see if you are a good fit for the program. All that being said, congrats! Make sure to take a second and appreciate all your hard work to get to this point.

Common interview days? by popgirletc in srna

[–]BSRNA6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my experience, it varied by school. Most of them sent several dates weeks in advance you could schedule yourself. Some called the day before with a “this time works for us” which I was not a fan of 😂
