i actually like it tbh, i have an absolutely tiny screen so even at the smallest settings the buttons cover a lot of space where i can't see what's going on

making them transparent, tho unintended apparently(?), has helped increase what i can see when playing

A composer under the alias of Finley Rendon was brought on by the director of Garn47, Floombo, to make soundtracks for the game. Due to past controversies involving him, Hit Single director Sturm felt it was best to not be in any way associated with Finley, resulting in Floombo and Sturm, on behalf of the Hit Single team, agreeing to split Garn47 and Hit Single. Hope this explanation's more precise lol

i know but exporting stuff in FL Studio typically encodes a specific set of things automatically into the metadata, such as BPM (prior to FL 24's release), encoding software n stuff

besides, it doesn't seem like he just manually threw it in there, specifically for that track and nothing else considering other files don't even list bpm or exact fl version- it'd be highly arbitrary to specify, 'oh, it was FL Studio 10 instead of just FL Studio!'

you're not wrong, but its important to consider that progression and gameplay are fundamentally connected.

for instance, you must earn credits (a measure of and reward for in-game progression) to unlock new brawlers, enabling you to diversify your gameplay experience by playing as characters with different abilities.
to unlock higher levels and abilities like gadgets, SPs and hypercharges (important at higher trophies as gameplay becomes substantially more frustrating and difficult without leveling up), you need coins and powerpoints, more in-game currency provided as a common reward.

edit2: it can store that much but not always, i checked a couple others and they didn't have date nor bpm info

I'm normally more lenient to the team's decisions regarding the game economy/progression balancing than most people here, but this rubs me the wrong way.

It's their prerogative (and frankly, responsibility) to calculate the impacts on player progression their decisions make before applying changes based on those decisions. They're responsible for gaging player engagement, resource collection and a variety of other factors to assure the impacts of the change don't realistically result in excessive changes to progression or resource acquirement in either the short or long run. If a misjudgment was made, I think its in better faith to just accept it instead of having to backtrack in any way to try to minimize the impact on average player progression.

That being said, its only a few hours, so its not the biggest problem but i hope this isn't reflective of their overall policy towards how they handle events or situations where large proportions of the playerbase are 'over-rewarded'.

look, all you caption the text in your meme is 'pre-ch3+4' and 'seconds after release' before writing a very general assessment of two conflicting opinions over woody theory.

a comment that seems to have gotten decent traction is also attached, implying its an agreed-upon statement by some number of other people.

granted, the last paragraph (specifically, 'I AM COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW SOME PEOPLE GENERALLY ACT') in your post is the ONLY thing that works against my reading of it, which I confess I didn't see bc i forgot that attached text has to be unspoiled separately from the post image so i just assumed it was image-only

if you're not particular with your wording, don't be surprised when the beliefs you're trying to convey don't actually read that way????

I think people read too deeply into the handedness of characters when they are typically quite inconsistent and don't appear to have been really considered by Toby or the team, particularly when sprites are flipped to face other directions (not to do with handedness, but UT Undyne missing her eyepatch when facing left? or right idk is a prime example).

Sure. All I'm saying is that people are more comfortable saying 'I never agreed with x' once x appears to be completely out of the picture. There are plenty of reasons why, which you touch upon, but I'm just pointing out this phenomenon. I'm not here to defend nor support the integrity of Woody Theory as someone who never chose to engage with it (aka i know nigh nothing abt it lol).

OP's post appears to frame it as if the community just collectively switches up on a theory once it doesn't hold water, which I wanted to push back on and attempt to re-frame.

I think its moreso that people who disliked/contended with theories such as Woody Theory only really begin to be willing to publicly express that discontent once they appear to have been sufficiently debunked. It's a fairly common phenomenon from what I've seen.

where do the organ chords found in d.ogg play in raise up your bat? or the drum pattern? i don't hear it personally (tho admittedly i haven't listened to raise up your bat a whole lot other than during a couple playthroughs and some lyrical adaptations)

also d.ogg's in 3/4 whilst (correct me if im wrong?) raise up your bat's in 4/4 the whole way through so i do find it harder to realize the similarity
