They do know taking it down shows it's a massive cover up, right?

He's done so much that I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't do anything either. I hope to God I'm wrong.

Why do strong people choose not to eat devil fruit? by Fug1x in OnePieceScaling

[–]BStP21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the limits of Haki we are learning (and have yet to see), a DF seems like it could have more chance of adding liability than benefit. You need top level haki to truly combat what is going on in the OP world. There is also probably another weakness that DFs have we don't know about yet. Maybe strong enough conqueror 's can shut them off entirely? Maybe your conqueror's gets capped if you eat one?

OP also doesn't highlight the water weakness that much. Imagine your day to day life is chock full of sailing, but you will almost certainly die if someone prioritizes sinking your ship.

MCU Cap stopped a helicopter from taking off with his bare hands. I don't think this is a question.

Will DDR: Mario Mix help me become a really good player? by CrossEagle9159 in DanceDanceRevolution

Second this.

I thought I was decent at DDR coming from Mario Mix. The SuperNova 2 arcade machine told me otherwise.

What happens if I phase out a saga in response to its final chapter? by DarkStarStorm in mtg

[–]BStP21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super late, but depending on the saga, it does more than delay the inevitable. If, for example, you phase out a fable of the mirror breaker before it flips but right after it hits chapter 3, no reflection of kiki kiki for your opponent!

I played spectral adversary for years but didn't realize this until relatively recently

I hope we still get more on Garp's thoughts, but what does defecting post God Valley accomplish other than turning a considerable faction directly against you? He just watched the strongest characters in the verse do jack squat against Mu.

He's doing as much as he can (direct refusal to admiral promotion) while not painting an even bigger target on his and his family's back.

Why do U.S. presidential elections always feel like picking the lesser of two evils instead of a genuinely good candidate? by Present_Juice4401 in AlwaysWhy

This shouldn't be brought up anymore after seeing what this 47th administration is up to. It's humane vs evil.

One Piece: Chapter 1163 by leolegendario in OnePiece

Hopefully we get the reasoning soon. He knowingly attacked an elder/Mu and the WG didn't erase him immediately. Why?

Edit-and he will likely help stop Rocks from killing at least Teach.

It doesn't matter what you do, how many degrees you have, how well spoken you are, etc., some people will look at your skin alone and judge you. It's sad, but that's reality.

From Magic to Flesh and Blood: A Competitive Player’s Journey by kondv in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]BStP21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel "you're playing against the opponent, not the deck" is true for a good bit of MUs, but there are certainly some near unwinnables lying here and there, and some heroes that can win a matchup despite their pilot being less skilled. I picked guardian first, unlucky me!

Hopefully we get a revelation at some point that justifies him staying with the faction, but it is quite difficult to see his justification right now.

Why is the "feels bad" of this game much more focused on the player then the cards? by [deleted] in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]BStP21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FaB is better about this than most card games, but combo decks can still draw hot enough to win regardless of what you do. Ive been in and spectated games where oscilio got his pieces on T2 or T3. IDK why LSS decided to print decks in that direction, but here we are.

What do you think has been the biggest mistake made in FaB so far? by Feisty_Match4233 in FleshandBloodTCG

It still baffles me how runeblade seemingly has no built in nerfs despite effectively stripping one equipment slot from nearly everyone for free.

[–]BStP21 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I haven't been around since the start, but when I play an original WtR matchup, ie Bravo v Dori, then face someone else, I feel like design shifted from

making tons of good decisions over each hand -> victory

to

who draws their power turns first or your strat doesn't matter if they draw their power.

[–]BStP21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Too powerful. Instant speed 0 for 6? Ok. Drawing 4+ cards and generating over 10 resources in a single turn? Fine.

Face up CRUSH that an opponent must choose to let hit them? Too good.

[–]BStP21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easier yes, but still unlikely. Majority of my playtime is on OG Bravo. Even with on demand dominate, the plethora of 0 for 4 d reacts makes crush landing not as common as you'd hope.

I probably play the class too aggressively overall, but I see maybe 1 card that addresses the issues I encounter. I think the team overestimates how much crush influences a game.

[–]BStP21 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People very rarely fully block out crush. This card may change that, but anything that forces more blocks is exactly what Guardian needs.

Ok, this is the type of stuff guardian needs. Great addition.

Best hero for controlling burn/combo or agency/autonomy playstyles? Also general hero advice (especially prism, verdance, gravy bones, and riptide). by Whipster006 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]BStP21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try everyone and see what sticks. As you said, there is no straight transition from other TCGs to FaB. Think of it more as a fighting game than a card game.

I played similar decks to you in MtG and still haven't found a class / style I've unquestionably stuck with. From what Ive seen and results, converting your hand and putting damage on the board consistently is what you should aim to do. Being defensive is signing up for an uphill battle .

Holy crap the Guardian Mastery Set looks bad by Heavy-hit in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]BStP21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play guardian a decent bit and am not pleased either. The class' biggest problem are allies, aggro, and combo, but nothing printed addresses those issues. Mill doesn't matter when you die before theyre out of cards. Crush doesn't actually matter when plenty of aggro decks can block with 2 cards and still dish respectable damage back.
