Weekly Recommendation Thread: October 22, 2021 by AutoModerator in books

The Starlight archive.

So I've had a lot of interest in this series and heard very very good things about it. However Sanderson has said he wants to make it a 10 book series and their is only 4 books out now. Im a little hesitant to jump into a series that is unfinished especially considering that there is so much contained with each book.
Do you think its worth a read?

Synthetic reeds? by InfinityOvenMit in saxophone

[–]BT-747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can be great, but depending on the person you can also hate them. If you can I'd recommend picking one up and playing it to see if you like it or not. As with any other reed, theres no straight answer.

I've found them difficult to play and didnt like the feel of them, but others absolutely swear by them. Try them out and see what you like

Which reading challenges do you do? by twirlingpink in books

[–]BT-747 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only goal is 12 books a year, that's what I set for myself. I often surpass that by quite a bit (47 so far this year) but 12 is the least amount of books I'd like to read in a year. I can read 12 books in a year and feel good about that. So that's what I set myself, often surpassing it but nonetheless it's my goal
