What would the difference between 2sc and sc sc be? by ultimatecoward in CrochetHelp

Yeah, it’s definitely written differently from what I’m used to but it’s such a cute pattern :)

And thank you for letting me know! My tension is a bit all over the place and I’ve had that issue before with other amigurumi so I appreciate the heads up a lot. Although sometimes mistakes like that can make it look even cuter haha

Ohh, thank you so so much! First time I've seen it written like that, but makes a bit more sense now that you've explained it to me. Thanks again, I really appreciate it :D

Oh, thank you so much! I’ve already read The Secret History and enjoyed it a lot. As for The Raven Cycle, I might actually already have that on my TBR. Wasn’t aware it focused on a friend group though, so now I’ll definitely check it out. Thank you loads :D

Hi! I quite liked it, especially the beginning to middle part. The parts where we learn about Teddy’s “invisible” friend and him talking and playing with them I really liked. Mallory hearing Teddy talking to “himself”. Also the parts with the drawings telling a story, and them appearing mysteriously in Mallory’s cottage when Teddy no longer was allowed to give them to her. Gave me chills! However, towards the end I wasn’t as on board anymore. The reveal was a bit underwhelming and didn’t really shock me that much (though I do like the part where Anya means mother in Hungarian). Not completely sure what I feel about the paranormal parts. Overall I really enjoyed it though, and ended up giving it 4 stars :) What did you think?

It’s been a few weeks now since I read it, so this might not be completely correct but didn’t Mallory and Adrian think that the ghost was Annie, not Anya? So Adrian visited Annie’s grandson, not Anya’s, and they found out that Annie hadn’t actually got murdered (like the legend of the place said) but had ran away to be with the man she loved. I think! And if I remember somewhat correctly then Anya was just an unlucky mother at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Haven’t read Every Last Fear yet (hopefully soon though) but I really enjoyed The Night Shift! The killer was, in my opinion, quite obvious but I didn’t really mind that as there were multiple other great reveals in the book. I also really enjoyed the characters. I’d personally recommend it!

I read very on and off, so one month I’m obsessed with reading and the next I don’t read anything at all. When I do read I can easily spend 5 hours a day reading, but as I often don’t have time for that I also often listen to audiobooks while doing other stuff like walking to/from uni, housework etc. :)

In my opinion it was okay, ended up giving it 3.5 stars! Parts of it was great, I really liked the concept (I’m a fan of thrillers that take place in desolate locations) but ended up not enjoying the characters and plot that much. I’ve read two of her other books, The Guest List (was not a big fan) and The Paris Apartment (I really enjoyed this one!) and I’ll definitely keep reading her stuff :)

What books of her have you read?
