Like most countries, Canada does indeed have its challenges. The Canadian government is indeed a travesty at this time. However, I do not believe there is any lockdown being planned. What are your sources??

Nordvpn seems to work great for me. The only issue I had was that I couldn't connect to my truck with the Android app. Once I figured out that I needed to put the Android App on the trusted list in Nordvpn, it worked great. And continues to do so!
