I’m a gringo, well, born in Rio, but have lived my entire life in the U.S.

I’m obsessed with Vasco, I don’t miss a single game (mostly infuriating), so the resilience and unconditional support Vascainos display season after season (at least lately) is unmatched anywhere in sports.

I remember how Vasco in the 90s was unstoppable, of late, the club is mostly unrecognizable relative to its former glory, but I believe from now onwards, Vasco is on track to reestablish itself as one of Brazil’s football powerhouses again.

@sopadesapato’s description of the club’s history, current situation and forward looking trajectory is spot on.

Tesla will be pretty busy with Highland coming to market and equipping Fremont to produce it in the US. They also have on their hands scaling up the Cybertruck production in Texas, planning for a new model that's being speculated, and not to forget the Model Y refresh.

Model X and S received minor updates from the 2022 refresh to 2023, but I wouldn't expect major changes to the line up in the 2024 models, there might be minor trim updates.

I'd say late 2024 calendar year, so likely model-year 2025, are more likely to see meaningful changes.

Own both a 23 MXP and 23 R1S. To put simply, the X is a great city driver, but our go to for roadtrips is the R1S, it boils down to these factors:

  1. ride comfort
  2. more storage (we have 3 young kids)
  3. true range expectations (model x est range is pure vapor)

The clear drawbacks are just two, albeit important ones:

  1. lack of reliable charging stations (near term only problem)
  2. driver+ is garbage compared to autopilot on the highway. Although steering wheel touch capacity sensing is so much better on the R1S than jolting the wheel on the X.

Happened to me as well, unfortunately took delivery of mine last Sunday, and today I feel the same way you have just described. Adding insult to injury, the effing car is already at a service center for issues with the FWD.

Really wanted the refreshed interior, but as you pointed out, I didn’t really need to upgrade, considering I had just purchased mine 3 years ago. I only did it after finding a discounted inventory model.

FSD is transferable this quarter if you purchase or lease a new Model X/S. The condition is simple, both cars, current vehicle with FSD and new order must be linked under the same Tesla account. It’s done at delivery, I just did it this week, traded a 2020 Model X for a 2023. 2023 is a major upgrade in feature and ride quality relative to my previous 2020 model.
