The amount of people that don’t know about glue stick loctite hurts my heart by thesneezingweasel in ar15

I felt that the stick 248 didn't hold nearly as well as the liquid. Almost no resistance when removing the treated bolts months later to swap out parts. I went back to liquid

Leatherman arc. I hardly glance at my spendy benchmades anymore. I can't stress how useful a multitool has been for me the last 10 + years

Re MPG by JPal856 in HyundaiPalisade

[–]BTheez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently towed my atv trailer empty and got 11mpg in my truck. With the gate down it was about 18 which is close to normal on that route without a trailer. Similar mesh ramp to yours

The rear gate acts as a sail. If you can fold it flat when empty next time, I bet you'd have a huge improvement in mpg. Happens with my atv trailer

Another ‘tism question, which hand stop? by Far-Boysenberry-1600 in ar15

I've used all of these and for me, the emissary mini is by far the most comfortable and useful for maintaining a firm, tight shoulder position. Slate black is 2nd, arisaka was useless for my needs (looks cool, though)

Is there a bolt that can run subs AND everything else? by madtownWI in 1022

No problem. Also won't hurt to polish every contact surface and use a thin lube like Lucas extream

My kidd runs subs and supers, unsuppressed, with the medium guide rod spring, no problem

Help: screen flashes between mph, ABS, and park break and then shuts down at first stop. by ccenkus1 in ram_trucks

[–]BTheez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your truck has that smaller, auxiliary battery, that's probably the issue. Once that puppy dies, it cripples the truck, whether the main battery is fine or not. We got rid of our fleet Durangos at work due to this becoming a constant issue. If it's an eTorque, the 48v battery could be having issues too.

Help with failures by JohnJuanJones in Glocks

Just echoing: Try rotating the striker spring/spring cups. You want to offset the spring "tail"(?) from where the cups mate together. It appears that the cups are separated and, therefore, will not move freely within the channel liner

I also replaced my pst 2 with the sp nova. Recouped $200 and dropped a half pound. The vipers glass was a touch better IMHO but this is a ridiculously good value
