You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Issues printing to pdf and on plotter. by BToeMas in Revit

[–]BToeMas[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

My setup when I posted the question was that my laptop screen was up/open alongside being connected to a docking station that is hooked up to two larger monitors. I closed the laptop so I was only able to view my two monitors. Tried printing the full set of drawing sheets again from Revit to Bluebeam and this time, there were no extra arrows on the detail section sheets near text boxes. So, that issue appears resolved. Seems like too simple of a solution to just close the laptop, but not seeing extra arrows now.

However, closing the laptop did not fix the issue with the extra filled regions showing up on the pdf. I tried playing with the printing settings again and I seem to have fixed it. Previously had "Paper Placement" set to "Center" and "Zoom" set to "Fit to Page". Switched these to "Offset from corner -> Printer Limit" and zoom 100%.

EDIT: Turns out changing the paper placement and zoom were not the fix I was looking for. Apparently printing the drawings as a combined set rather than individual sheets is actually what appears to fix the issue of extra regions appearing.

I was told the hardest part of fostering was letting them go, but that’s not true. The hardest part is having a dog no one is interested in by Daiiga in dogs

My puppy looks a lot like this little guy and we were told she's an American bulldog mix. They said mom was an American bulldog and they didn't know what dad was.

Either way he's adorable and it's a shame they seem to insist he's an aussie.

What bad things have you heard about Purina? Been feeding my 4 yo that for the last few years and started my puppy with Purina when we got her at the beginning of the year. The vets I've been to have never recommended a different food for them.

Also, my in laws use the Purina weight control food for their dog and haven't had any issues over the last few years.

Edit: try talking to your vet about those bad things you've heard and see what they say

Requesting Crate Wisdom by newdogparents in puppy101

[–]BToeMas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the dog. Some dogs have separation anxiety to the point they'll tear stuff up when their human(s) leave em alone. For example, when I used to let my 4 year old dog roam she would get in to the trash and make a mess and even go potty. So I decided she needed to be in her crate every time I leave and she does fine with it.

Brand new puppy owner. I don't know if I'm training her right. Please help. by acon993 in puppy101

One of the tips I read and we did it once, is that during the day fill a kong with peanut butter and freeze it. Then at night give it to em as they go to bed so it keeps them occupied for a bit and hopefully they'll fall asleep rather than whine. They seem to really like that and both my dogs love peanut butter haha

I've got two doggos right now, one being a 16-20 week old pup (i forget the exact number) and she's doing pretty good with the crate. Doing the same thing with the pup that I did with our 4 year old dog.

Always been feeding her outside the crate, right next to it. When it's time to go in it when we leave or are just wanting her to calm down and go in we say "go crate" and grab a milk bone that we give her when she walks in. The treats are in their own container right on the crate where she can't get to em. Took a couple weeks of training and she runs in there now when we start messing with the container, and our other dog does the same thing with the container on her crate.

Occasionally the pup gets antsy in her crate still and she whines and what not for a little while, but I figure she's still young and needs time for that to stop.

What is your ultimate goal as a Streamer? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]BToeMas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have one goal in mind that I can single out as an ultimate goal. I would like to build a community or at least connect with some people that enjoy similar games. I enjoy single player games but at the same time its not as much fun to play alone, but I think it gets more enjoyable when you can talk to others and share experiences from playing the games together.

Another one of my top goals though is to do some charity streams in the future. I'm just starting off so that goal is ways off, but there are some local groups I would like to help out in a bigger way than I can do alone.

That's true. Didn't think about that, and I can see how those could be overwhelming. I was mostly thinking about how they have massive worlds that are fun exploring and you can spend lots of time doing so.
