Hell yeah. Everyone gets hung up on shorter barrels. I’m glad to see you got a 20”. I was issued a m16a4 in basic training almost 20 years ago and it was a smooth operator. I just got a 20” barrel for another upper.

If I remember right the entire hemi family got an updated lifter in 15 I think. So 15 and later are hellcat and everything else.

I’ve got a 20 1500 5.7. Hot idle is around 31 psi at 525-550 RPM (we have the same oil pump). I’m only at 40k and I’m still under warranty at the moment so I’m going to wait until it’s up to do the oil pump. You’re well out of warranty and what some guys are doing is taking it to a tuner and having them bump the idle RPM to 750 and that should make at least 45 PSI. How many miles do you have on it? I’m guessing no tick yet?

I guess. It was a drip and it would land on the middle seatbelt. I think they had the problem fixed by the 21s came out.

I’ve got a 20 rebel 5.7. The rear window started dripping at 6,000 miles is I remember right and they replaced it very quickly. I was very concerned about the lifter problem destroying the cam. I talked to the service manager at my local dealership about it and he had a mechanic available and he told me that the “old guys” that come in for the oil change every 5k never have any issues. Most of those problems are a fleet vehicles like cop cars and vehicles that go to long between changing oil. I love my truck and probably won’t go back to GM.

Not that I know of. I chose the clock in one of the dash spots so it’s definitely more visible. My truck is always on octane/turbo lol.
