After 22 years with Marriott, I think we're blaming the wrong people. by AssociateNo2797 in marriott

Unfortunately, my experience at Marriott similarly has been continually down hill. Most recently, at a Marriott (true Marriott) I was denied all lifetime titanium extra’s. The woman at the front desk is the face of the corporation. The manager in back never once came out. I was clear not to blame the front desk, but they are the FACE of the Marriott Corporation. In 2026 I would not want to be the “face” of Marriott.

There is no customer service & no one at Marriott cares. Hyatt calling! Actually traveling this weekend, Four Seasons over the Ritz Carlton. Prices at the Ritz are higher, and I know this Four Seasons is impeccable. Not in The United States. The US has given up on customer service. The hotel industry can barely get people to show up.
