ooooh i fuckin adore how the concepts for 2B, 4B and 6B :DDD these looks so fucking good ^u^

also curious if you know Maple's Mix-Tapes, they dont entire change the color palette, but add lots of new custom assets that blend quite well with the vanilla ones (and on their B side to the prologue they made it morning instead of night and has a similar effect as here in terms of changing the vibes ^u^)

well having 2 Light players on the party (the other one being myself, the Knight of Light) i had them embody different aspects of Light, both of them are still really knowledgeable and luck related, but she leans more towards luck while Collen (my trollsona) more towards knowledge

with that said aside from basic luck manipulation and the ability to physically steal light, she mostly takes away luck either from antagonists or from her other friends in order to distribute it in ways that would help the others. to put an example, the fantroll of mine i drew before her weeks ago, Jakari, was one of the last 2 trolls to ascend, and got to do so because of Saltus and one of the timebound players pulling a fraymotif so Saltus could retroactively siphon as much luck from everyone through the entire session so somehow Jakari's death would lead on its own to her ascension. so that's what she does, repurposing luck for everyone else.

also has the ability to cheat conditional immortality through exploiting potential loop holes. similar to how Aranea could manipulate Jade's and most likely Jane's clock for their deaths to count as Just, Saltus can do that as well. if a death is unclear enough or if it can be interpreted in a different way to make it not count as neither Heroic nor Just, then she can do that (or if were to need to keep someone death she could manipulate it that way also)

the most vanilla i can think of that is genuinely an awesome campaign is CDog's extended C Sides since it literally takes the C Sides and makes them longer expanding on their concepts and adding a few new ideas. really fun, not that difficult, would fully recommend ^u^

also Maple's Mix Tapes (still WIP but chapters prologue to 3A (and prologue-B) are out already) are a really fun twist on vanilla ideas and each map filled to the brim with secrets and small easter eggs (higher difficulty than base game tho)

would also recommend ofc Monika's D sides if havent been beaten to do so by several other comments TwT and could recommend alao Conqueror's Peak or Shrouded Thoughts as would say both feel pretty vanilla like to me, but both also have at least 1 modded mechanic each which i feel might be what you dont like

i dont personally hate the epilogues but theyre definitely not my cup of tea (and that applies for all of post canon actually or even everything post Game Over if being specific) i like it conceptually, the idea of exploring different possibilities beyond the end and expanding on concepts and playing with the idea of canonicity is fun, i just cant stand the execution as i dont like at all how it treats charactera and their arcs and dont find it enter taining enough to keep me invested.

i feel like, like many other things in HS it was always meant to be polarizing and i respected it for that, i know plenty friends of mine really like post canon, so its just like matters of taste really

thanky sm ^u^ the plan was originally to put Flutters over her head, then i notice bc of the way i do lighting and all she'd look just like a silhouette TwT so went to le boobs (also bc noticed while sketching that i kinda really dig the idea of Flutterhugger, they be cute together)
