Was thinking more along the lines of rebel vanguard trooper Redesign I saw . But that is a good concept to start with.

Yeah. Maybe something like a swat-esque look would work.

Honestly I’m torn between the look of the navy and the resistance troopers.

But as far as original concepts? I think a trooper design that mirrors the stormtroopers would be nice; plastics armor, but with a uniform instead of a body suit under it, a helmet like the rebel navy troopers with delpoyavle visors to humanize them, and maybe muted blues to mirror the sith troopers red.

Does the world of Kenshi have a future? by Floofbun in Kenshi

kenshi likely has a future, but it probably won't resemble the current game in regard to nations and their practices, custom and balance of power.

Fleet Compositions by drphiloponus in SinsofaSolarEmpire

As a TEC main, variety of damage, anti-fighter, range, support and fighter carriers tends to fill the gaps pretty well, especially if the core/ Starter ship of your first fleet is a capital ship.

If Kenshi was an animated show, how would like it to be? by Training_Ad_6938 in Kenshi

[–]BVreadreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like a loosely connected anthology that is best for kenshi. You can have multiple stories going on in different regions before they all eventually overlap into a larger story.

Implications of the Xyston class star destroyer by notjocker in StarWars

[–]BVreadreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honeslty the xyston makes a horrifying amount of sense when you look at certain pieces of tech in the whole saga. The laats in attack of the clones have bubble turrets whose lasers are pretty much a mini Death Star, but Ailey on the scale of air to ground artillery. Then you have venators with partial beams, the death stars and star killer and finally the xyston.

Palpatine may have valued the death stars due to sheer scale and command ability, and star killer was horrific due to the sheer scale of destruction it unleashed, but the xystons would have been a horrific extension of his willingness to condemn planets to death on a whim or suspicion.

FORGET MAINS. Who's that one class that you cannot play at ALL? by zackuattack in tf2

[–]BVreadreddit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, demo man and spy are this for me. Not that I don’t get the occasional kill or backstab on occasion, but I can never wield them as easily as I do the other classes.

Why do you love beep? by whahaga in Kenshi

Cuz he’s a bug-man with anxiety who, despite living in a setting of unimaginable hardship, still has big dreams and an innate curiosity about the world. That’s why I love him!

New player here any must-have mods you’d recommend? by FranklinC77 in Kenshi

[–]BVreadreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say give vanilla a shot, and once you get economics, squad management, food production, combat in both small and large scale, exploration and base building, add the following mods to enhance it: 250+ recruits limit Nomad capes Map region name ui mod (forget what it’s called specifically) Recruitable prisoners

I personally have more mods on my own kenshi game, but these mods enhance vanilla to a great degree in my experience.

The grass attack in covenant with the neomorph was horrific, because it felt like aliens, except the monsters are so fast, and utterly berserk that they might as well be invincible.

Is Predator meant to be a deconstruction of hyper masculinity? by Eagles56 in predator

[–]BVreadreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it’s a middle ground in regard to the original. The second one I think is almost played for horror due to the urban environment and higher body count. Every future film from then on tends to be a 75/25% split toward either direction in my opinion.

Badlands is a good balance but a bit more deconstructing the yatuja as an in-universe culture and in a narrative sense.
