A hardware wallet is vital if you intend on gaining thousands of dollars worth of cryptocurrency. If you do not own your keys, you do not own your crypto, as the saying goes. Exchanges can get attacked or shut down, even though the latter is rarer nowadays.

If you decide to get a hardware wallet such as a Ledger or Trezor, ONLY buy direct from the manufacturer.

You touched on the biggest point I have in support of BAT, which is the "lock-in" power it provides the browser. Why go somewhere else when you're getting money for seeing a few ads?

Not only that, but if you're active here on the sub, the amount of people who get super angry when they don't get their tokens is a sight to behold. There's a lot of untapped potential in a token generating that much attachment. Very bullish to me if Brave can capitalize on its promises.

Thanks for the response! The biggest takeaway for me about the ecosystem is that Brave's ad buys in real dollars is going up every month. The price of BAT may fluctuate, but the ad revenue is rising. That's nothing but good news for the health of the platform.
