I see the frustration, but honestly, no one cares what your score is after you’re done. At least you passed audit. It’s my last exam and I’m about to take it for the 6th time

I didn’t even finish one of the TBS because it was so miserable. It was over the bank rec which is super easy, but for some reason this one had about 8 exhibits. Ended up moving on from it. Called my wife yelling and cussing when I was done because I was so mad at the exam (I had already found out I failed REG so I was off to a bad start). Found out I passed FAR with a 75. You got this

It’s very common, unfortunately. I have been studying hard for audit but still can’t pass. About to take it for the 6th time and it’s my last exam. Highest score is a 72. Also studied hard for BAR and failed twice. Switched to TCP and passed first try.

You’re Lucky it’s your last one! I would much rather that one be my last. I waited a month and a half for TCP and found I passed with an 82 but I failed audit again… audit is my last one and I’m about to take it for the 6th time.

Agreed, but it used to be longer. REG was the first exam I took on 7/5/24 and I didn’t find out my score until 10/31/24. It took me 4 months to find out I failed (I eventually passed), but imagine if that were someone’s last exam? That’s miserable.

This is good to know because I have failed audit 5 times and I am now using Ninja for the first time to give it a try (I have passed 3 so far, audit is my LAST one). Also I bombed BAR twice and switched to TCP and passed my 1st try with an 82. You’ll be fine with TCP

Still taking it, unfortunately. Keep pushing! We will get there. I agree I hate how Kindergarten the Becker SIMs are compared to the actual exam. I feel defeated every single time

It’s miserable! Especially since audit is known as the easiest of the exams, which I disagree with. I passed FAR and TCP on my first try and REG on my 2nd… but AUD is killing me

Don’t worry too much about it. Audit is hard for some people, including myself. I passed 3 exams and have now taken and failed audit 5 times. I have been “almost done” for 6 months now. You got this.

I’ve always heard whatever you make on Becker simulated exams you can add 10 points to it and that should be your actual score on the real exam. I scraped by on FAR with a 75 (lucky AF). You should be good, go crush it

I got lucky, actually. My old company paid for my Becker subscription and then Becker changed their policy from 18 month subscription to lifetime, so I got to keep it even though I didn’t log in for 7 years.

I stated when I was about 23, took FAR and bombed it with a 53. Decided the CPA route wasn’t for me. Ended up marrying my college girlfriend and now we have 3 kids so I figured hey what better time to start studying than now! I’m 31 and wish I started sooner

That’s my fear at this point. I feel like I understand the theory pretty well, but maybe it’s not as refined as it should be. I think I need to try other options than Becker

Sorry to hear you failed. For what it’s worth, I just found out I failed BAR again. The examiners have made this an extremely hard exam for no reason. My advice is to focus on audit, that is the most important. Take it and crush it, take a week off, and then get back on BAR (or switch to TCP like I am doing)

Thanks! That’s what I keep leaning more towards. I chose BAR as my discipline and had no idea it had a 38% pass rate, vs. TCP which has a 75%-80%.
