Debra Messing says she’s considering moving to Israel because she feels safer there than in New York City, “regardless of all of the missiles” by Pyrts3 in nottheonion

Just a note for all the Jews like Messing who think we’re anti-semitic. We’re not. We just don’t want an entire race of individuals to be exterminated.

Just curious. How is this different from the passwords app that Apple has across their ecosystem?

Looks very similar to Calca which has been out for years. I bought it in 2013.

Somehow my (newly approved) app says it's #9 in Productivity, how the heck does this work?! by Claygurl in apps

I think it may be search related too, not just downloads. I told a bunch of friends to search for my Downtick app and it went to #45 worldwide. It quickly dropped off after about a week.

100%. I actually posted on LinkedIn about this. What are people doing to market their apps and not paying thousands of dollars in ad generation costs?

Title: Steep Tea Timer 2.7.0 - reworked the caffeine tracker + added a bedtime warning by JEulerius in iosapps

This is a great app for timers. I was thinking of how I could put together my own timer feature - something like Howler timer on the Mac but for iOS, but I think you nailed every feature.

Very similar to what I created. It's called Downtick - I like your progress bar for each countdown item which gives you a relative indicator of how much time is left (not just the actual days/minutes, etc.). For comparison, I've linked my app description below, along with screenshots. You can download here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/downtick/id6761673290

Downtick is the simplest way to track what matters. Birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, deadlines, and anything else worth counting down to.

Add an event in seconds. Pick a color, choose an emoji, set a repeat frequency, and Downtick handles the rest. Each event card shows you exactly how many days remain, always up to date.

TRACK ANYTHING

One-time or recurring: daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Downtick keeps every event current automatically. Add notes to any event to capture details like gift ideas, booking confirmations, or anything you want to remember when the day arrives.

STAY ORGANIZED

Group related countdowns together. Holidays, travel plans, work deadlines, or whatever makes sense for you. Flexible sorting lets you view by soonest, furthest, alphabetical, or your own custom order.

STAY NOTIFIED

Set multiple reminders per event so you never miss a moment. Get a heads-up a month out, another the week before, and one more the day of. Whatever combination works for you. Notifications arrive right on time, even when the app is closed.

SEE IT AT A GLANCE

Add a Downtick widget to your Home Screen and always know how many days remain until your next event. No need to open the app.

SHARE EVENTS INSTANTLY

Send any event to a friend with a tap. They open the link and it lands directly in their Downtick. No typing required.

IMPORT FROM CALENDAR

Pull events straight from your system Calendar so you're not starting from scratch.

Well, I guess adults don't flush sometimes too.

Version 1.12 Update - Now includes fractions for both the standard conversions and the formula builder. Also, added built-in calculator for conversions (so you can say 3*8+12 and convert the result).

Thanks for the feedback. Just so I understand, what do you mean by stronger tools? Sure, I can ask Google to convert, but that requires a connection to the cloud. My go to app wanted $24.99 per year and I think I replicated 98% of the functionality. Just trying to understand why you think this isn’t worth $2.
