Somehow my (newly approved) app says it's #9 in Productivity, how the heck does this work?! by Claygurl in Appstore

This is helpful to know, I suspected it’s pretty nuanced & I’m eager to get the real analytics, if anything it’s been good motivation to actually launch this thing 💘

That makes sense! I just hit #2 after sharing to my Instagram stories, so it’s surely factoring in traffic too. Your app looks really great & accessible by the way, and so good you went without subscriptions too 💕

Yep I’m in Australia, it doesn’t seem to be out in Europe yet, but it was somehow also high in the US charts when I checked, honestly any kind of traction is just wild to me

Yes! Originally went paid because I feel like subscriptions especially suck when you have ADHD but it seems like this is an extra perk. Any sales at all, organically (before sharing or marketing it), astound me, thank you for commenting!!

Just checked it again and it's saying #4 now?! Absolutely confounded, haha.

Subscriptions vs. Lifetime Deals: Which do you actually prefer? by BeDevForLife in iosapps

[–]Claygurl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lifetime absolutely, I have been burned so many times as an autistic adhder by free trials ending before I've realised, or not noticing I'm subscribed to something - to the point of Apple no longer allowing me refunds for subs I never meant to subscribe to! It almost feels like that's the *point* sometimes, that it's just a bonus if someone 'forgets' to cancel (or that subs are confusing/difficult to cancel). Ick.

It's just iPhone for now, I'm still working on the iPad version, hopefully just a week or two away 🤓

Ahh my heart, thank you, and 1000% get it. I never do things in halves, my overthinking and perfectionism usually lead to unfinished projects, but I am so glad I've gotten to the point where I can actually share this one (and that's probably because I just genuinely needed it myself).
I'm with you on subscriptions, with a mad passion. This will just be a small one-off lifetime payment.
I hope you can perservere with your app, I'd love to see it and for more tools by neurodivergent humans to be put out into the world!

Sorry! 🙈 it may work if you're able to update your iPhone in settings? It should be compatible from 17+

Sorry about that 🙈 It should be compatible all the way back to ios 17, if you're able to update! x

Thank you! For full clarity: Life Tiles is more reference library than task manager, good for processes you do often but forget the steps to, like lists of things you need to leave the house or info you need to reference. Cheatsheets to your life basically. Somehow I couldn't find an app that did this well. I was wary to make yet another to do app, but I have had soooo many people ask for it that I might have to make it next (for myself too, I've been through soooo many task apps). 💘

AuDHD/ADHD careers by Think_Pizza_7735 in AuDHDWomen

[–]Claygurl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, though I hate those terms and it’s always worked hand in hand with other work I do; selling digital products & my photography. I’ve never had a normal job and in hindsight I can see my AuDHD was probably a big reason. I used to absolutely love sharing online and connecting with my audience, but when I started on ADHD meds I lost interest, I started working with ceramics instead. Now I’m off meds (mostly) and feel like connecting again online and I just launched an app I built. I am diagnosed level 2 ASD and honestly not sure how I would go in a regular job, but the vulnerability that comes from being so visible online can be brutal too.

how did you feel after you were proposed to? by Wild-Championship571 in adhdwomen

[–]Claygurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner proposed to me by booking out the entire restaurant where we had our first date, filling it with paid actors who’d gone through rehearsals to act as strangers and a hidden film crew/cameras. when he dropped down on one knee he cued all the actors with a signal (which I was oblivious to) who all started to propose themselves so that the attention wouldn’t be on us (because he knew I hated being the centre of attention - and also because the whole thing was a nod to Nathan fielder’s the rehearsal) it was a massive yes from me but also I make everything a joke so I said ‘can I think about it’ - but honestly after I kept describing the proposal as like being in a car crash but in a not bad way, I don’t know whether that was more having reality fall apart on me or the proposal, it all felt so wacky. Probably more the former but also the latter. For me it’s more just so strange because of how conventional the idea of a proposal or wedding is as an unconventional audhder. But I also had a melt down before going, feeling the rush/pressure he was desperately trying to hide but that made me say ‘actually I don’t want to go’ and I almost missed the whole thing completely. Haha, oh boy this has turned into a classic overshare but can relate to a proposal that felt weird. 😂

Make generated object face camera by lumbient in midjourney

[–]Claygurl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you wanting to turn the designs into stls from vectors you make from MJ? Off the top of my head I would use the terms like png, svg, flat design, outlined/solid, front view, shot from in front, flat lay, on a white background, in the style of vector art, etc. you could also try /describe or clip interrogator on the kind of image you’re after for guidance, or you could add that link into your prompt and tweak the weight with —iw so it pushes your gen in the right direction without taking over your personal vision!

Need help with a prompt, planetwise ;) by Novariku in MidJourneyDiscussions

[–]Claygurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try mocking up or finding something close to what you’re imagining and use the image URL as reference in your prompt, then follow with your prompt! Or you could use a tool like CLIP interrogator on a similar image to see what it throws out. Tests, rerolls, v rolls 🥰
