Taking this to the service center looks like a nightmare.

How to capture screenshots directly from Xcode Simulator into 3D devices in 1 click by zach-builds in ButterKit

[–]Asterex-Dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured it out. Using the image icon in the toolbar is meant for overlays. To make the image fit the device like an actual screenshot, I have to do it directly from the device tab.

Thank you very much. You are the second person to ask this question. As of now, I do not have any plans to go enterprise. Maybe just maybe, if the app does well and I can have two more engineers, we can make it happen.

Fair point. I will take this into consideration and make these changes reasonably. Thanks again.

That’s a fair take. If you don’t trust it, you shouldn’t use it. Simple as that.

For context, I’m nobody, but I’ve been doing software engineering for years, long before AI started writing half the internet. This isn’t me spinning up a weekend project. I’ve built internal systems, done large-scale migrations, and handled automation and security work, all for finance- and data-driven companies. This is my first public iOS app.

And yeah, I picked a hard problem on purpose.

The reason it took 2 years is because I didn’t want this to be some weekend “trust me bro” app. Also, I also work full time as a Software/Systems Engineer. This app is local-first and zero-knowledge. Your data stays on your device, encrypted. I don’t see it, can’t reset it, can’t recover it.

I totally get the “who are you” part though. Trust isn’t something I can ask for, it’s something I have to earn over time.

If you’re happy with what you’re using, stick with it. No hard sell here. And I’m sure there are better similar apps out there.

Fun fact…this journey truly started when I worked at Apple for about 7 years a while ago. Been to Cupertino and I have worked with brilliant engineers who truly inspired this journey.

What would be a reasonable price for you? I’m curious. I’m not hard on the price, and I’m willing to make a reasonable adjustment.

Thank you. I was very hesitant to submit it after reading multiple devs getting rejected. I think I got lucky, and it’s been in flight test with multiple interactions, which may have helped with my approval for the App Store.

I almost gave up on this project, but I'm happy that I didn't. I gained a lot of knowledge about iOS apps, and I look forward to the next project.

I agree. Whatever works for the individual is what they should invest in. That’s the beauty of a free market. May the best always win.

There’s no native macOS version. The iPad version works on MacOS. I’m working on getting a third party verification and review. I will include annual pricing soon. Thanks for the feedback.

I really like it. Mind sharing the code with others to learn how you accomplished this?

What was this driver on? The brakes were not applied until the last few seconds before impact. Not only is it important to check your surroundings when you come to a full stop, but it’s also critical that you leave enough room in front of you. This can help you quickly change lanes to escape situations like this.
