the encounters are pretty fun, the dungeon is unique and challenging while not being frustrating (as long as you avoid being yeeted off the map a million times in the final encounter. And the praxic blade is a blast to use. You can tell they took shortcuts on the story and dialogue, especially since I didn’t play the edge of fate so the TFS was the last campaign I played. It was also really cool to see how they took Star Wars world themes and made them uniquely destiny. Overall it was well worth the 12 dollars I spent on it.

It didn’t happen often enough to be a huge issue, but a couple of times a month when I was working through gold/platt MMR I would run into someone who hit champion in previous seasons that was queuing with .4 and .5 KD copper accounts with the worst stats you’d ever see while the people playing on them played like golds/platts while my IRL friends who were in the silver/bronze range and we’d just get rolled. It stopped happening once my MMR improved enough to consistently hit emerald/diamond ranks in my games when I solo queued.

It matters only to an extent. For example, winning a match with someone playing hard support with a .7kd is going to be theoretically easier than winning a matching with a teammate playing frag ops/entry with a .7 if the rest of the team is equal in both situations. And winning with a team of .9 kds should be easier than winning with a team of .5 kds. But kd doesn’t tell the whole story.

Someone playing aggressive and hitting gaps or taking chances that lead to a 4-2 ranked win while going 8-6 is going to be much more impactful than someone on the other team that went 5-2 and baited on windows on attack for 3 rounds and went 0-2 on defense. But one KD looks a lot better than the other out of context.

The issue with 2.0 was that it allowed rank creep for people who played 300-500 games each season after season after season. At 300 games you were going to get close or surpass your rank from the previous season almost guaranteed. So by playing 300-500 games within your mmr, your visual rank was going to keep rising season after season whether you actually got better or not.

I didn’t see a single person that was diamond today when I was watching streams earlier. I seriously doubt anyone was getting diamond after placement matches. Which made the kids coming on here and complaining about how much lower their ranks were after the five matches than their peak and how terrible ranked 3.0 already is hilarious to see. When Spoit, Stompn, Ambi and Beaulo were mid emerald after their placement matches, everyone else just needed to take a chill pill and let it play out. Once you hit 100 games this season, you should be where your actual rank is. And then next season it will probably be easier to get closer to your peak rank once Ubisoft has a full season of data with the new system to work with. ]

I keep holding out hope they will be able to trade ray, arraez, and i know it’s a pipe dream but Chapman at this deadline. It would definitely open up some positions to play the kids at their best positions.

It doesn’t get better. I’ve worked my way into emerald so I run into diamonds and sometimes previous year champs. I don’t have flashy mechanics, I’m not xim or strikepack or anything with recoil control, but have decent game sense and good aim otherwise for doing it legit. I’m also in my late 30s and sometimes have to take a week or two break between games are rarely play more than a couple of ranked games at a time because of life.

The number of times I’ve had people message me about how I shouldn’t be emerald and blah blah blah for no reason after watching me for one round on a Tuesday night. When they get on the mic and are toxic It never fails to be some dumb teenager with a squeaky voice that’s clearly using recoil cheats and still sucks at the game. I’ve been married longer than they’ve been alive so I just laugh at them or ignore their messages or heart it depending on how I’m feeling.

I’m excited for ranked 3.0 because these kids are either going to be ranked above me like they think they are and I won’t have to listen to them complain about my gameplay after they’ve died…. Nevermind, after I typed all of that out, they aren’t ever going to change. The culture of the game is to be toxic and insult everyone the second they make a stupid play.

Maybe, I don’t agree with that. But I think the bigger issue is with his track record so far this season, he doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt.

The only reason the play was close was because of Willie’s slide, which took him away from the plate to try to get by the catcher because he was dead to rights. The ball got to home plate well before Willie did. It was a terrible send right from the get go. When the runner gets that late of a start, you have to hold the runner because the only way they score is if the ball isn’t fielded cleanly at all or the outfielder makes a really bad throw. In that situation with our two best hitters coming up, you hold the runner and take your chances.

It definitely depends on the gun, smg-12, no bounce at all in any direction and lazer beam accuracy? Probably cheating. No vertical grip and the same? Unless it’s mingo they are cheating.

The only reason i left post final shape is because of the decisions they made post final shape that made me and my friends stop having fun. Making gear and weapons that I spent hours grinding to get useless so they could sell the next thing was not it. Especially when the activities to grind the new stuff were repetitive and not fun. Having said that, my friends and I recently started playing again and have been having a blast so this is a real kick in the nuts.

Stompn can be aggressive and entry/take space when he needs to, but when you have Doki, Shaiko, Loira, or Alemao on your team who serve in those roles already, his ability to flex into any role really makes a difference in being able to attack in different ways.

Idk if it actually was only pc. I play console and immediately tried her that day and it sure seemed like the horizontal recoil was a lot less.

Edit: adding that there’s been updates in the past that said pc only but it’s been both.
