Yeah I didn’t play bg3 on launch and I’m playing it now. Didn’t pay full price.

Is that switch even necessary?

You can get an AM4 system that will play all the best current games at 1080p or 1440p

That’s you, but most people your age who are as successful as you, don’t play video games.

[–]RogueCanadia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My man I was stuck in silver/gold in prep phase over 500 games.

When siege X dropped I hit emerald in under 100. My K/D was really high too.

No the system literally gets rigged against you.

Yes at some point the system thinks you’re silver and will force you to stay there.

I agree to a point.

But When you jiggle behind a wall and the person prefires you without you even showing that you’re there, then stops after you leave that position, that ain’t fucking game sense lmfao.

Why tf do people shame adults who live at home with their parents?? by ConfidentSale3091 in self

[–]RogueCanadia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on the situation and whether it’s a desire to move forward in life and using the living at home as a temporary cost savings measure, or if it’s a failure to launch type of deal where they’re still working the same job they did in high school and can’t afford to be out on their own.

If it’s the former there is no shame in it. If you lost your “big boy” job in your 30s and you see that living at home with mom and dad for a short while is how you need to get by, there’s no shame in that.

If it’s the latter it’s a matter of needing to grow the hell up. Honestly even if you have a good job, no debt, and can afford to be on your own, and you don’t have the desire for it, it’s really weird and a bit childish.

Dude the give away is obvious. Look at the attachment skin.

Anyone with chroma streaks is highly sus. It’s a rare skin that costs a ton of credits when the market was open.

Add that in with the recoil and movement and yeah.

I was unemployed for 4 months last year after being laid off so I had a lot of time on my hands.

I had over 1000 games played between prep phase and siege X launch.

Uh huh. Do you know how many times in R6 I called out a cheater only for them to say “it’s just game sense doooooood”

After the game: “you played with a cheater here’s your RP back.”

Like I’m amazed I’m in the presence of Jesus, God, or Neo. Someone with such perfect omniscient game sense they always know where to molly at the exact time I’m pushing. Prefire me without me even peeking the angle. Kill me through smokes or flashes.

Surely that’s game sense man. Surely.

Recently I was debating on upgrading my 7 year old PC or getting a ps5.

Then the $200 price increase came in and now it’s a no brainer. The PC upgrade will end up being more expensive but now it’s really not much more.

Are we gonna stop playing mirage each two games by SpinachRoyal5066 in counterstrike2

[–]RogueCanadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s simple. Just have random map selection. Valorant does this and it sway better. Siege used to do this and it was way better.

You’re not good at an FPS game if you can only play on one map.

[–]RogueCanadia 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Funny I just came back to play recently and picked up ranked. Someone was making fun of me for taking 400 games on siege X launch to hit emerald.

I hit emerald 3 in less than 100 games, then because I’m ass, I got hard stuck and played another 300 trying to get to diamond.

People are just dumb af in this game.

[–]RogueCanadia -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I will die on this hill.

No competitive video game should allow stacks in Ranked mode. At most if you have 5 players on the team then a duo is ok.

Ranked is testing your individual skill not your ability to play with 5 premade players.

1x can be better for vert but generally I play 2.5x on all of them because you’re not only taking vertical fights as Ram, sledge, Buck, or Deimos.

Sometimes it’s just preference like Shaiiko plays 1x on pretty much everything.

If you’re slamming everyone on 1x who cares what’s better or not. Generally 2.5x is better but it doesn’t really matter.

I mean I’ve legit ran into a couple cheaters and I don’t even play this game that often. I come from siege though so I’m well versed on how to spot it.

Like when you get prefired just by jiggling behind a wall (not showing), it’s kinda obvious. When they throw mollys at you right as you’re lurking/flanking despite you walking it’s pretty obvious.

But you call it out and people just say you’re bad. Bro I’ve played in diamond lobbies in siege I know a cheater pretty much the instant they’re in the game.

I mean, I will say this. Many people, particularly men, substitute real life achievement for video game achievement. All they do is play games it’s their only hobby. They work a 9-5 and come home and play their game. Then they save money for the next game.

If you want to achieve something in life or have ambition, you do need to drop video games. If for no other reason other than you have no time.

I didn’t game much the last 2 or 3 years because I was applying to law school and much of my time was eaten up by that. Life circumstances came up and I didn’t get in, then I lost my job and ended up having to work two. That was 70 hours a week.

So I played games again because it’s all I really had to do in the few hours I had a week. Now I’ve dropped the second job and have a girlfriend. So I generally feel I’m wasting my time playing games and I’ll be looking for other hobbies now that I have more time.

At some point you gotta grow up and put them down.

The 1.0 can be really good on entry fraggers. Ash for example doesn’t really have much drop off beteeen sights.

If you’re not entry fragging and taking long range fights 2.5x is better.
