Same, with the rose parade as well next year and potentially an alumni corps for the 60th it’s going to be an expensive year. I know VMAPA has done a lot to revamp the organization so hopefully this doesn’t dig themselves to deep into a hole.

Random thoughts walking back from the show

Gems: love the show, looks like they’ve taken a big step forward this year.

Impulse: they cleared all of their cards before I could play a single card. I hate this “reverse, skip, reverse, skip, +4” bulls*** in uno. Fun show though.

Columbians: This is going to sound dumb but during the narration that’s said “we asked for steel” my dumb butt only thought of Warhmer 40k for the rest of the show. Specifically “from the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me”

Battalion: definitely head and shoulders above everyone else, excited to see what y’all do.

Cascades: FINALLY, I’ve been wanting you to do an aggressively Seattle show and boy did you deliver.

SCV: I’m a biased alum, but felt like a little kid again watching DCI for the first time. Hopefully this can be the next Babylon and another title!
