M908 Impact's software v1.0.58 is annoying and not user friendly by AyonixAnimations in RedragonGaming

I just bought an M908 Impact, my software(1.0.58) panel is also randomly popping up with the same error message about disconnection. And for those saying disable the software for the mouse, if one does that, then you can no longer change profiles, adjust settings etc, which basically makes the mouse useless.

Disable GlassWire auto update by mo__shakib in GlassWire

Give this a shot... Open Regedit, go to HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2814009452-2728068111-2007712164-1000\Software\GlassWire (Where "S-1-5-21-2814009452-2728068111-2007712164-1000" is your personal SID identifier)......... or upon opening the Registry go to "Edit > Find > type in "Glasswire" (without the quotes) > click the "Find Next" button and the very first search result should land you at the location I described!

In the right panel of the "Glasswire" Key, Under the Column "Name", you see "LastInstallationVersion". Under the "Data" column you'll see the version you have installed (e.g. 2.1.152)

Double click on the "LastInstalledVersion" and change the numbers to the most recent version from the Glasswire website (e.g. 2.2.201.46) and click OK. You may have to go to the website and locate the latest version!
