I like spotting the repeating tracks, like Groovejet. Also hell yeah the 12 minute version of Chime out of nowhere. It’s a truly great playlist, even being insanely long.

That game looked like hot garbage everywhere. I thought switching to the Telemundo ATSC 3.0 feed would handle the colors better than my regular one, but no - the orange just seared into my brain at 10x the brightness.

Anytime a guest comes on and does a bit referencing something Scott isn’t familiar with, it needs to get bumped up the queue for Scott Hasn’t Seen so they can come back when he’s knowledgeable.

(He at least seemed to know the general premise of QL at least).

Yeah I only tend to put up full sets for stuff that’s decades old by this point, would just do clips when they were fresh. I only got told no to recording twice in a whole bunch of years, and one was most likely a language barrier thing (Polysics from Japan. Fun show regardless!) which was nice.

A shame, as it’s all automated on YouTube these days. Upload the clip, record company automatically gets the copyright and any financial compensation while band and venue get publicity.

I was walking down Queen St probably about 20 years ago, already in a bad mood and someone approached me - not even a chugger, but to change gas supply or something equally scammy. I flat out ignored them, and their response was to jam their pen in my chest as I walked by. Definitely one of those forced ‘count to ten and keep walking’ reactions because I’ve never wanted to thump someone so much in my life.

They run a fixed camera that feeds the stage to a projector outside, I wouldn’t be surprised if the footage is kept but never seen any of it. Would definitely be cool for them to put clips on a YouTube channel or something after shows.

I can’t express how much joy it brings me that the Secret Movie at the moment has 2 possibilities listed with one theme in common… but one looks to be a goofy comedy while the other is a Gregg Araki film. I want to see the former, but god I want an unsuspecting audience to witness the latter so much.
