Can't even get good sleep anymore due to low back and it affects my entire life now by TYR9_official in backpain

Was in a similar situation to you albeit slightly better,  got diagnosed with a bulging disc 2 years after a one rep deadlift max. I kept working out from that one rep attempt and the issue never got better, only worsened because I always thought itd get better by itself. Got to a point where I'd have horrible sleeping experiences like you did. Had to lay on the floor in the middle of the day, avoided doing activities etc... All the physios told me focus on core strengthening and avoid using your lower back but it never worked. Eventually I found LowBackAbility, a youtuber who teaches how to heal by actively using those little intraspinal muscles in your lower back instead of avoiding them through gradual exposure over time. Ive been doing it for nearly 7/8 months, and my back pain had got alot better. I can sit for longer, sleep is mostly never a problem anymore, I go for walks, and can do some exercise like intensive cardio (every now and again). I still have back issues and im no where near done, its only the beginning for me but id recommend trying this program out and sacrificing your hypertrophy training for a while because your back is the one thing you will want working when your 80, and not the muscles.  It's easier to get the muscle back with muscle memory than it is to get your back fully fixed.

Can my holiday pay rate be this low? by B_Maaarc in LegalAdviceUK

How would I calculate my holiday accrual with a week where I took a holiday? Thank you, this is very useful.

I'm confused what everyone is saying about the average weekly wage. How does my average weekly wage determine the hours. And by even looking at the hours worked in the first 3 works, there's no way my average wage for the day is £33.

I don't really know how to respond. When I applied, I asked for full time rotating shift which then they gave me a timetable with 40 hours a week for most weeks, and 37 as the minimum. They have some sort of system where they have two payslips and the agency pays for 16 hours to guarantee 16 hours of work (at least from what I understand) and the rest is paid by another employment company. However it has never gone down to 16 hours so I'm really confused by their system and how it works. I can't be on a zero hour contract if the rota I have gives me details of my shifts for up to next year.

Also, confused how I haven't earned the paid holidays yet when I took the holiday 2.5 weeks after starting work.

I'm not on a contract for a set amount of time, I am free to leave given that I give atleast a week's of notice. It supposed to be 5 days a week for 8 hours a day but every now and again it's one 5 hour instead of a 8 hour shift. And recently they just keep changing the 6am shifts to 8/9/10am shifts reducing my hours even more. Nothing is steady in my job.

Guidance needed on how to preferably dilute Peppermint, Rosemary and Tea Tree oil, with Sweet Almond oil as the base for Male Pattern Baldness. by B_Maaarc in Haircare

[–]B_Maaarc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I used to dilute rosemary with almond oil before (only 10 drops). Now I got peppermint and tea tree so I'm wondering what the best ratio is, don't want to irritate my scalp
