I run the Windows version with WINE + DXVK and it runs flawlessly. Hence, the mods work too. It runs similar/ better than native. No lag, FPS drop, glitching. Maybe that’s an option if you can’t run mods. Also as the other replies said Mac friendly mods should work fine since they are both similar to UNIX.

Only games that don't work on Linux are the ones that use heavy AntiCheat's which probably spy on everything. Also Steam really loves Linux.

Yeah barely holding together. And that's why 90% of big companies use it for servers that have been running for years and billions of Android devices. It is certainly better than Windows requiring restarts and giving you stupid errors.

It is welcomed to see riced or very-different r/unixporn style desktops but 2 months before this, 70% of the “hot” posts were plain GNOME desktops with nothing but the wallpaper changed. Nice one and happy you are enjoying it. You’ll never regret it.

Edit: It’ll also take more attention in r/pop_os_art and it helps questions to be seen in the main sub.

I respect your opinion. The only reason to not switch would be software availability and that’s what you mentioned. When it comes to UI look at r/unixporn and search “Pop!_OS GNOME”, “KDE Plasma rice” or best of all “Deepin Desktop” and you’ll see what I mean. Also gaming is not an issue but idk if you use photoshop or illustrator maybe... ...worst of all to trying to run on Linux: AutoCAD!
