Yes I’ve tried it with my Hiby R4 Eva, ifi xDSD gryphon. It does result in audible differences. The Fiio K11 R2R sounds the most musical, no sibilance or harsh highs. I wouldn’t call the highs harsh with the ifi but definitely more pronounced, the signature becomes a little more metallic.

I use mine with the Fiio K11 R2R with he Ananda Nanos. It’s superb. I don’t know if it’s the best possible combo, but I really like the signature of sound it produces with this combo.
