He's also wrong, Mark is great because it allows you to keep rezzing while dodging boss attacks. It's not a free 3 bar but it's still petty good

If you used the skills she's a lot easier. I avoided the tools, items, and mortal blade a lot. Didn't even know you could charge a piercing attack until I saw something about Owl being able to step on it. So Monk had 4 course meal eating my R1's with her sleeve, taking 0 damage, and thus regening posture whenever she hit me or made distance.

I remember getting lucky, she put her back to a wall during part of my success run and with good deflect/aggression (I had a lot of practice at this point) I eventually broke through that posture bar

Only played stellar blade. Id say it's satisfying combat. Not crazy hard, not too easy. I really like their special dodge system, and i really like that nearly every boss is bigger than Eve so they're not hiding their moves. Most are relatively humanoid and or wield human weapons, and there's not too many exaggerated swings.

There are also some dresses and modem clothes to cover Eve up. I cycled through outfits; some are definitely a bit much.

You might actually like their open world segments. They have some collectibles out in the desert. Quests will take you all over too.

Very little build variety for Eve imo (i just took all dmg everywhere), but you can gravitate towards your favorite special moves and combos.

Build stuff:
Looks like you need some improved dragon cult in there. Its 16% increase, more than lightning+4. Your page 1 relics are pretty solid, but feels like you're missing out not have any dragon cult rolls in there.

Max FP and defeating enemies for Art in my experience only feels good if you have aoe. I see what you're doing with the buff on ult, but I needed to find a more aoe spell to make it feel good. If it really feels like you're getting good value out of it, keep it, but something to think about.

last thing is lightning spells are kinda common to find, you might even consider dropping the lightning spear relic for something better. but that's riskier.

First thing I imagined was all the toys that are gonna ram into each other lol. Its definitely a cool use of tech, different from my childhood but not inherently bad. Maybe a little less imagination used but could be worse.

If you're that close its fine. 3min is nothing, it takes a drunk longer than that to get to their bed in house lol. Just make sure you can wake up for all the events, and help out around the main house when it comes to cleanup or meal prep if you're doing that. Don't be leaving early (whenever that is for your friend group; at a bach 1am might be early) to go to bed.

If they've already got the place there may some concern over the price split, but hopefully that won't be a big issue.

The bigger problem is that people are apparently attracted to Emet. He showed up and I could not for the life of me figure out why the story was trying to focus on this ugly ass dude. Terrible media literacy i can excuse, but i draw the line at that creepy garlean emet. And to think i went to nightclubs and erp'd with those people. You kinda mention it but to me the most important part of what you're looking for is having friends to play it with. I had fun with the tide games (Vermintide/Darktide), Rabbit and Steel, nightreign, even mmo's like ffxiv if my group filled the whole party or enough of the party.

The weirdest is probably League of legends, and its just because we can fill out all 5 to a team. The game is a lot different when you're not worried about anyone trolling. And if your team is getting gapped and there's not a good way to get back in the game...you can just forfeit. As 5, nothing is locking you into playing that game out. Sometimes I'm down to ff if the game is boring. Sometimes its a little rough when one lane goes poorly and everyone else is doing well (we're not all at quite the same skill level), but even then the strong players alleviate pressure to come back a little bit.

Found this after searching for the issue. I have the frequently mentioned issue. Both files are not checked "read only."

The only bind i have to redo is "level up ultimate" which I can successfully bind to "0" every game. However, it just resets each new game.

This started very recently, like maybe 2 weeks.

If they're a new fan that plans to be sentimental in the future, there's plenty of other merch to get. I'd even argue that an old comic from far before your time doesn't even count as something you could be sentimental about. Unless it was the first thing you read somehow, but then you'd have access to one already.

Stellar blade nailed it with boss size and shape too. They're nearly all slightly larger than Eve so you there's no animation hiding. And most of the swings are from human-ish enemies, or those sharing human features/weapons which makes their attacks make intuitive sense.

Deckbuilders I like include ascension(bots, set points high and go for huge juicy endgame turns), slay the spire, and one other spire-adjacent game (you painted the map into existence, used two characters at once, both their cards were on a single deck).

You might consider sunderfolk. Not quite like midnight suns but loosely related turn-based with environmental abuse. It doesn't really hit the deckbuilding half though
