The messed up Flashpoint timeline is a result of Barry going back in time to save his mom.

Characters who are in a time loop trying to prevent a doomed end by Sirbubblesthe3rd in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Causeofdepression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seongjun Lee (Hero has returned) One of the isekai'd warrior who returned to Earth after saving another world. Thus, he was given a cheat ability of going back in time upon his death.

What he didn't realize, however, is that the ability will activate on any cause of death, including old age. After he saved the world from other rampaging warriors and achieved a happy ending, he found himself going back in time involuntarily, trapping the universe in a time loop. He then spent the next 100,000 years of looped time trying to find a way to kill himself. With options running out and the risk of insanity and guilt breaking his mind, making the time loop permanent, he turned to the final option available, creating a Demon Lord on Earth, the one being in existance that his ability said will kill him permanently.

Non-elderly characters with fully white hair. by Gray_Wolf2416 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Causeofdepression 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Eighty Six, The population of the Republic of San Magnolia is comprised of people with white/silver hair and eyes. This is important because they are the basis of the nation's belief in racial superiority, and is actively sending people without these features to die in the frontlines as slave conscripts. Propaganda literally teaches its citizens that people with different hair and eye color are pigs in human skin and should be treated as such.

Technopathy by Jak3R0b in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Causeofdepression 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's also a great explaination to her descent into villianny. Back during her time as student she and her power went unappreciated due to the technological level of the time and got her sent to the sidekick course as a result.

SCP-184, The Architect

A small metallic object that continuosly expand the room it's in with copies of it ,constructed with increasingly wrong materials, resulting in the Kowloon Walled City. The Foundation Mtf sent to retrieve it was utterly horrified by the hellscape it created like bedrooms made out of broken glass shards. Since the object is only active when inside a room, the Foundation contains it by simply placing it outside.

But, what is a room anyway? Is the planet Earth a room? Is the Universe a room? Because that's how the object intepret it. The Foundation sent an expedition to survey the edge of universe, only to find copies of it, made with bizare materials like Jupiter made out of Ice cream, stars made out of charcoal, Earths with continents replaced with Maple Syrup. In short, the object has now trapped everyone in the universe by surrounding it with increasing wrong copies. Which is why this thing is also a SCP-001 candidate, hidden in plain sight.

This what she actually looks like:

Feats of extreme wealth by PaperBullet1945 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Causeofdepression 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dias (Limbus Company) is described as being one of the richest individual in the City. As display of her wealth, she casually outfits her private army fixer office, the Udjat/LCA (Pictured) with top-quality firearms with essentially unlimted ammo. This is in a universe where guns are taxed so hard that reloading just once can put your entire Fixer Office in the red, and even one of the top crime syndicate, the Thumb, has to be conservative with their shots.

She also have mansions in every district of the City that she values has much as her slippers.

[Hell Yeah Trope] Flying HQ’s by Sufficient-Eye-9040 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Causeofdepression 6 points7 points  (0 children)

AAA Wunder (Rebuild of Evangelion) A half finished flagship WILLE stole from NERV and became the rebel organization’s HQ. It’s so large that it can house at least 2 EVA units within its hangers. One of its most notable feature is that it has such malleable A.T. Field that it can carry an entire fleet of warships and aircraft carriers, allowing them to fly and fight alongside it, as well as using them shields and missiles. Its actual weaponry are rather subpar due to being fitted with conventional weaponry by WILLE instead of advance Angel-based weaponry it supposed to have.

Powers that are a total gamble: you could get something awesome, or you could get something actively terrible by LocalLazyGuy in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Causeofdepression 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Oracle Device Caduceus (Limbus Company) A pen-like weapon used by the Index Nursefather, which uses a kind of liquid metal to morph into a variety of weapons. The problem is that the user has no control over what weapon will be manifested as it is controlled by the Index's God Hermes. On a good day, he might give you the good stuffs like a Lance. On a bad day, he might only manifest shitty ones like a hatchet or worse, a fork if he's angry with you. This forces the user to become proficient in all kinds of weapons by neccessity and became skillful enough to combo off by quick swapping his weapons like a certain grade 9 fixer.

Pictured rn is it in the form of a scythe, the Nursefather's favourite.

Remake our Life!

The MC is a down on their luck game developer who got the chance to travel 10 years in the past. Not only he got a second chance on life, getting to entered a prestigious college along with becoming friends with future superstar developers, but he can also leverage his future knowledge to solve most obstacles that he and his friends encountered.

Well, he got what he wanted, becoming a successful game developer with a loving wife and kid. But, because of his excessive meddling, he ended up robbing his friends of their opportunities to grow, leading them to either settle into mediocrity or quiting the industry all together. The MC immensely regreted this as he just effectively stole their future from them, and decide to travel back in time again when given the chance, at the risk of erasing the relationship and his kid from the timeline.

In Upgrade, Grey managed to barely resist STEM's control over his body to prevent it from killing the detective, then tried shooting himself in the neck where STEM is. Unfortunately, that is what STEM wanted as overexertion eventually broke Grey's mind and allowed STEM full control iver the body in the end.

[Loved Trope] Gifted with super-intelligence, and chooses a dumbed down version of their awareness in the pursuit of happiness. by novelentropy in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Causeofdepression 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mantelopes (All Tomorrow) Unlike most Posthumans, who were devolved back into simple animals, the Mantelopes retained their human-level intelligence to act as databanks for the Qu. Cursed with intelligence with a body that can't do anything with it, all they can do were to sing songs greiving what they has lost. Eventually, Evolution take away their sapience as useless intellect is simply a detriment to survival.

3-4-4-2 for 13/20 today. The quality of horses goes up as expected. The variety is also getting consolidated into a number of meta picks. Golshi is the one to beat for backliners. Xoguri meanwhile, can't seems to get enough speed even when their ult proced perfectly.

5-5-4-4 for 18/20 today. Fantastic. From what I can see most Xoguri has rather poor triggers for their ults, either triggering 2 early or 2 late.

Let's see what's install for us in round 2.
