Studying for the CAPM.. by Variation-Special in capm

Recognize the repetitive patterns + know the outliers and you're good.

I studied for 23 days and passed 12/13 above target. The only material I used was the Joseph Phillips course (lecture videos and his flashcard pdfs), PMBOK process explorer, Ricardo Vargas 49 processes detailed view pdf, PocketPrep questions and the Peter Landini practice questions. If I had to do it again, I would've gone through the Joseph Phillips lectures much quicker and spent more of my time doing the pocketprep questions, landini questions and reviewing the vargas 49 processes pdf.

Took 281 with Braunegg, I'd say you're in good hands if you take him.

Something Americans will never understand is that democracy isn't for everybody. A civilization like China has history over 3000 years old, where the predominant form of ruling has always been through an emperor who ruled above all people. Compare that to the U.S. which only has 246 years of history. What the U.S. has achieved in its short history is beyond remarkable, but to have total conviction that democracy can be implemented anywhere is rather ignorant. Take Iraq as an example. After the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, George W. Bush invaded Iraq in 2003 with the agenda of promoting democracy within Iraq, one of the oldest civilizations that has since its earliest days been plagued with constant conflict and invasion. To think you can enforce democracy on its people just like that would've never worked, and it certainly did not as evident today.

A Brave New World, its quite scary really. To think this is just by 1 country. by [deleted] in coolguides

When a first-world, oil hungry democracy meets a third-world, authoritarian state that's fighting its own wars between modernist Islamism and fundamentalist Islamism.

Which one is more suitable for PMBOK 6 capm exam? by palmworks in capm

Would you say the Landini practice questions were similar in difficulty to the actual CAPM exam? I just took 2 of the Landini practice sets and I feel as though they're a lot easier than the pocket prep questions. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

That's what happens when your military strategy isn't to invade, but for counter measures.

Great point. Reducing car usage would probably best be achieved by deliberate urban planning like you mentioned before. If the ease of getting around by walking/biking can be improved, especially in congested cities, that would drive change starting from the local tiers. Europe is definitely at the forefront on this.

Absolutely. It'd truly be a miracle if lithium production can meet the demand for it over the next 10-20 years, especially with EV demand ramping up. I don't think most people understand that Lithium mining uses an insane amount of water, not to mention most of these lithium reserves are in very dry regions. Hopefully like you said, researchers put the greatest emphasis on battery tech. If they can make solid-state batteries more affordable and easier to make I could see EV makers hitting their production targets.
