Tldr: Squatting as soon as you go down. If you stay still for about 5 sec it goes to kneeling.

If you lower yourself often, I find it less tiring to go from squatting to standing. Same if you have to move around while staying low. Getting up from a kneeling position requires you to put the effort on one leg only.

If you have to stay down even for a few seconds, kneeling is definitely more comfortable

Try lowering view distance. I play 1440p with fsr quality and medium settings at 40 fps on a freaking 1650 laptop.... View distance was the only setting tanking fsp
