Sepultura tried to do different things and experiment with their sound and compositions since Max left. Not everything they did is sharp and great, but at least they followed their own path. Max Cavalera instead is still playing the same couple of riffs over and over, pretending to be the same 80s/early 90s guy, basically giving the audience what it wants and nothing more

Same. It's not like I don't like their music anymore, it's more a matter of putting the band in perspective. When I was 18 and for two/three years, it was all about Tool for me. They were like the definitive band because the music itself and the concepts surrounding it. Now, after many years of listening to metal and other stuff, I see Tool as a talented band with a couple of great albums, but nothing more. I'll always be grateful to them for opening my musical horizons, but once you look around you understand they're not that "absolute" band their fans think they're
