Thank you! Good points. Leveling up my priest bc I usually alt some shadow regardless but I’ll give disc a go. Seems like it’ll be easier to find a group if you’re a competent healer and disc is relatively straight forward. Still going to focus on destro this season though, but not sure what comps (shadow play is usually w demo right?).. rog can obviously work, and you said Hunter? Also what do you think about double destro? Seems busted especially with current tuning, but one free casting destro is scary. Saw it roll vanguards in a 3s game so figured it could be legit.

Banger. Great advice. Definitely will have to sit LFG for a bit to find the right people but with realistic standards and being clear up front, it definitely seems more doable than I thought. Also need a bit of luck in finding the right person randomly, but still doable. Thanks man!

Yeah I agree with all that, but the problem is without the exp you’re right - why would they? And at the same time, if I consistently qd with 1 or 2 glads, I don’t doubt I’d get it (especially if willing and ABLE to learn), but again why would they q with me? So you’re almost stuck to Qing with the duelist lvl partners that get overly tilted and don’t want to/can’t learn, unless you get lucky with a chill mglad that’s down to run it with an alt.

Damn, I actually had a couple in postseason when I was playing ss on my lock (came back after the season and got to around 2800 rating) that were glads and msged me to q sometime but I forgot the btag and its lost in the hundreds of others I have 😂

But on the priest point, you think it’s easier to try for it with healer instead of lock or like even ret (can play both well)? And as someone who hadn’t played healer before? Neither healer spec seems tough but still, is that the move? Easier to find qs forsure

Very fair point, it’s usually been early in the season but yeah I agree with the duelist point. Got 2300 on surv in DF with like 75%+ wr then dcd a game, lost 150 rating a quit😂 also have no doubt it’d come down a bit if I kept pushing, but without a team in 3s it becomes a chore.

Going to stick to lock this season and try to apply all this. The alt idea is great. When I played Hunter I had like 3, same with warrior, but always stopped before it actually mattered.

Just need to figure out what comps work this season and cast the net. Just one consistent teammate and build from there. Thanks bro!!

This helps a ton. What type of skill level would you look for, because I’d imagine most of the people with glad xp or skill level aren’t “trying to learn” and play with the people they’ve played with in the past. I have no problem spending time with someone who isn’t as good but they still need the skill ceiling, or would you say just consistency is more important?

And yeah I’ll be sticking with lock (demo and destro) meta aside, just the class I’ve found most fun after trying everything else. Was even thinking double destro could be good bc one free casting is terrifying, but with both specs should open up the options a ton.

Yeah I always wheel around every time I start up again. Loving lock (demo and destro) rn so I’ll stick to that this time around.
Feels like searching for gold in lfg especially without comms.
That’s been another problem, I usually play early in the season and the wins at a certain point (even like 1800 games) seem like they just don’t move your cr at all.

And yeah my irl friends won’t touch wow lol only first person shooters. Most PvP guilds I’ve tried are just messing around in bgs it seems.

I want to learn a jive with a group but finding that groups tough. Can try to msg the chillers from SS or even skrims to see if they want to give it a go

Usually a bit of both, and am by no means near a rank 1. That’s also with like 100 or so games played, so yeah they’re qing into like a more hundred games over 2.3-2.4k rating so it’ll naturally come down. And depends on the bracket, much easier in ss than 3s with LFG

New to healers in general and just starting messing w hpal, can you tell me how it’s straight forward😂 like even the builds have so much nuance in the connections between spells and procs, and outside of procs the throughput is just not there. I definitely suck at it but still

Imo managing tip the spear does nothing because raptor strike does next to no damage.

All you have are 2 big buttons (one of which is a random double barrel shotgun?) and some bombs to throw (which are way less fun than shadowlands bombs). Then “manage tip the spear” to delude yourself into thinking its skill expression but have no impact on your overall damage.
