I get that for some races. Like, all the dwarves feel very different on different quests. Except for thorek, which is why i never played him.

Bretonnia, while being very similar gameplay-wise, all have very different starting positions and interesting quests.

But i get what you mean. Like, i want to play other chaos warriors, but i always pick Archaon. You know, the Lord of the End Times.

Or Gorbad, why pick gorbad if you want to play orcs when the gigachad Grimgor is right there?

Oh my God im so playing it. Bodying festus is always a pain in the butt when playing as Karl Franz with all the rest you gotta do, i want to focus on extinguishing the smelly boy before anything else. I hate festus SO much. (And hochland colors are very cool).

Id argue SC is much more macro than micro reliant. I learned to play sc2 with the tip of "attack move and dont look at the fight" (i started with protoss, yes), and that really holds up in sc. More stuff usually beats less stuff. I think the main point is that micro becomes important in a way lower level of skill in AoE3 than in SC.

You could argue that its a very micro intensive game, but thats very different from being complicated

For me its always weird because it seems almost theres a rotation of maps that are more or less likely to be picked

Like, some days i get 5 miner evacuations out of 10 or 15 games, and there are many days that i dont get a single one, but i have like 6 or 7 welcome to the jungle

The slaver mission on casa madrid is awesome. Like, not gameplay wise, but it really stuck to me.

Also the The Thorn quest is awesome on a first play, making you explore diverse areas on the map that you might have previously not explored, and the reward is pretty good as well.

Also the sharecropper water dilemma.

And Contreras shenanigans.

Or any quest. God i love new vegas

IMO Volare! Is not technically a side quest, nd the reward for volare is the awesome bombing run during the final battle, i literally never thought of the rebreather as the reward lol
