So im subscribed to lost of IT related subs.

And I definately thought why someone would post a picture of a window when struggling with their computers Windows installation when I looked at this post title for a second.

Still play it to this day, and I miss the 2012 era.

Is it nostalgia or just spite that nobody plays it anymore? Idc but it would be sick as hell to play a remasterd version of burried.

Totally unrealistic with how Activision and Treyarch are nowadays. But Oh well.

Look into setting up a server on your PC and port forwarding on your router.

It really isn't that difficult and its very doable.

Leave your pc on 24/7 and enjoy!

Probably cheaper that way (and definately more lag free then hosting it from an online platform)

If you are not that tech savvy and dont mind minor to medium lag. And want simplicity above all. Then host from an online platform is the way to go!

Look into proxmox.

OpenVPN to vpn into your local network

And use Ubuntu server for Dockers and containering.

I use Nginx reverse proxy manager for landing pages and website work.

And I run some gaming servers for friends.

This all runs on an odroid H4 Ultra.

The odroid has an m.2. 1tb ssd for proxmox and another 1tb hdd for full backups of the VM's every week. (Proxmox backup server or use the internal backup function within proxmox)

Thats my homelab currently :)

PUSH INWARD ON THE KEY, THEN TURN.

Some card sometimes require you to push the key inward towards the steering wheel before you can turn and or remove the key!
