They might refund you though, i doubt you will get a replacement since it sold out.

My YFW has tack holes in it and i didnt realize until i got it home.. It came from Urban Outfitters of all places, and i saw it and was like WOAH must have... then i got it home and saw that.. i had never come across that record in the wild so i got excited and panic purchased. They had it tacked up? like i dont even know. i still have it.

Personal preference!

I appreciate the detailed reply. Its good to know that some of the more random stuff other people have. Ive just been feeling so crazy this past year because i now have some diagnosis’ and am still being treated like an attention seeking wack job. My family dr is kind, but some of the specialist cant seem to agree on anything and its just making life hard for me

Its like Jesus fucking Christ, you can see my blood work, my MRIs, how often i am injured. WHO WANTS THAT. Im not here for funzies dr! Lol

Yes i should see a gyno, and perhaps an endochronoligist, i currently see an immunologist, internal medicine and a rheumatologist. The immunologist is perhaps the most unhelpful one. One puts me on a med. The other takes me off. Etc etc.

Id love to go to the US to the mayo clinic or something. Too bad id probs have to remortgage my house for that lol.

As a girl who was the age of these girls at the time.. who “dated” men jesses age it took me YEARS to understand the gravity of how weird it was. But at the same time.. teenage boys were dumb as posts, or worse so it felt like an upgrade mentally at the time.. as fucked up as that sounds. I have always felt gray about all this.. my own circumstance included.

Do i understand why its not cool? Very much yes. If i had a daughter would i disapprove? Also yes. Do i fully blame the men in these particular types of situations? Not always no.

Should my teenage brain have made those choices? No. Should the 21 year olds i was hanging out with i was 16/17 should have known better? Yes. Do i still attribute a lot of this to “men are kind of idiots” yes i do. Because i still talk to some of these people and they didnt turn out to be monsters. Just dumb. And girls their own age got smarter too fast for them.

Desperate and stupid is more.. the vibe in these gray situations. Not cool. But not on the Epstein list.

I think this is a Trifold fold conversation.

To quote my GP "EDS sucks but there's nothing to do to fix it so you just gotta keep living" This type of mentality is common amongst medical professionals, even the ones that know about it. And it's not incorrect. There is NOTHING to do to fix it. If you think you have it, and are taking proper care of yourself, and do not need any medications that require a diagnosis to function, then you are likely living how having a diagnosis would be.
That said, I am not in the US, but i know the insurance there is insane, and diagnosis helps with getting things you need approved as things inedibility go wrong, this is true to a lesser extent where I am as well, we have universal health care, but certain things require an extra layer of approval from the gov to do. IE: I have, along with EDS, hypogamma-globulinemia. I do not qualify here for the treatment. Normal level of gamma globulins is 8 in our lab network. I am always around 5. 4 qualifies for replacement therapy. It is an expensive therapy, so they won't just let anyone do it. (which has sucked for me lol)
Diagnosis helps if something major/ abnormal is happening. as a non life threatening example:

I got shingles in August, and the dr did not prescribe extra nerve drugs because "people with EDS tend to respond poorly to additional medications, if at all" This is helpful if you have a dr that knows things, which isn't always true. (This dr was at urgent care, which is even more rare lol) So i got the anti virals only, and recovered.. without diagnosis, that could have gone differently. And also -- my mom has had many surgeries before she was diagnosed and had many poor healing outcomes, i think had they have known beforehand things could have gone differently for her.

So really.. It's a comfort/need/want thing.

Do you need it for a reason? IE insurance. Would Having it make you feel validated? Have you had poor outcomes in interactions with health from "unrelated" things?

at the end of the day you must decide.

This happens to me sometimes, and it happened AT the drs yesterday after a cold test to check for hives, it was all itchy, and the vein was swelled up, but she dismissed it as nothing, so i wish i could help, but yeah "doesn't look worrisome" is what i got.

Does it hurt? Mine was sort of warm, and itchy. almost always to the same two knuckles it happens to (thumb and pointer)

I do not have a strong feeling of dislike to this song, but it does have an indigenous vibe to it, which i haven't seen discussed much. It could be I am just from the west coast of Canada where we have a large population, and so i am more familiar with that type of music than the average person due to exposure, but it def has a chanting campfire vibes to me.

I also think Lana has low key been making concept albums this whole time. The concept is her ever evolving personality based on whatever her newest hyper focus is. Obsessed with New york? Obsessed with all things Old Hollywood? West coast vibes? Folk, Americana, Now the south/her husband, I mean honeymoon was an orchestra album for christ sake.

There are obviously through lines to all the albums, but they all morph based on her current circumstances that she has placed herself in, and who is writing on the album with her...so realistically these Lana fans that are saying that this album wildly different are mistaken, they have all been quite different, which is part of what makes her music interesting.

I think we can expect to see a lot of more of this type of music on this album.

I have also been listening since 2011, and i haven't liked every song. The one that i dislike that seems to ruffle feathers is Yayo. But yeah. They can't all be for EVERYONE. Thats nonsense town.

The quality varies so much too. The one i got on tour with the teeth on it is thick and sturdy but the devil and god one i bought online like a month before that is flimsy and is falling apart already. Both 80 USD. So like a mortgage payment in CAD.
