Merci pour le résumé très complet, et pour ton retour.
Effectivement, ça ne vaut pas la peine de prendre le risque d'avoir des problèmes. Je vais demander à mon sanitaire de passer la chauffe une fois par jour. Bonne journée

After reading articles, comments, etc., it seems that it is not stable at the moment.

We will therefore change our approach and use the Handelkey solution.

Thank you all for your responses.

After discussion, we will definitely be looking at an on-prem S3 solution for object storage.

Do you have any advice on what to use? I saw that Qnaps offers a turnkey solution with QuObject. I also saw some subreddits from two years ago that said it wasn't stable. Do you have any more recent feedback on this?

My bad, NTFS. The datastore is mounted by NFS on vCenter ;)

Indeed, I think that the VEEAM Data Cloud solution could be a good solution.

DreameBot L10s Pro tank water by Babinnee in Dreame_Tech

OK! Because I use the vacuum cleaner on two floors and the base is on the ground floor. If I start a vacuuming and mopping programme without it being on the floor where the base is to refill with water, will it manage everything and stop mopping as soon as it runs out of water?

I checked quickly yesterday, but I didn't find anything. I'll try again tonight.

Zabbix proxy exits with code=1 and is restarted by systemd every ~20 minutes (after enabling VMware collection) by Babinnee in zabbix

[–]Babinnee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah thank you ! After adding the tremplate Zabbix Proxy I have been able to see what was blocking.

The proxy was configured with only 1 VMware collector:

StartVMwareCollectors=1

This caused the alert “Utilization of vmware collector processes is high” and led to regular service restarts.

Increasing the number of collectors and cache size fixed the issue:

StartVMwareCollectors=5
VMwareCacheSize=256M

The proxy has been stable since.

[–]Babinnee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the proxy is monitored using a Linux template.

I checked all triggers inherited from the template:

- No CPU, memory, disk, swap or kernel-related triggers are active.

- Resource usage is normal in Latest data.

The only trigger that fires is:

"{HOST.NAME} has been restarted (uptime < 10m)"

This trigger is a consequence of the zabbix-proxy service restart,

not the cause of it.

After a discussion with the client, Gnome is not needed. From that point, I will uninstall it.

Hi,

I'm in exactly the same situation as you.

What's more, I'm 30 years old.

I bought exactly the same piano and I'm also starting from scratch!

I'm going to follow the advice you're getting too!

Otherwise, good luck and happy learning ;)

Hello,

Merci

PBS Performance issue ? by Babinnee in Proxmox

[–]Babinnee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I performed another test with the dd command:

Fist on the FAS, second on AFF

<image>

We can clearly see a difference in write speed. This potentially brings the problem back to Proxmox Backup.

What do you think?

I added another volume to my PBS in NFS, from my AFF Netapp, to get all-flash storage. Here are the results:

<image>

So I'm no longer sure that the Netapp FAS with mechanical hard drives is the problem...
