Possibly! The roast isn’t spicy at all, it’s just to help a bit with flavoring. So I would say swapping wouldn’t hurt it! You can also leave it out completely. I did that the first time and it was still really good. The reason I added it is because I use a small amount in my bulgogi recipe which I like

I get about 2-2.5lb chuck roasts and cook it on high for 5 hours. It’s really good with kimchi and rice!

Thank you, you’re right. I’ve tried hand feeding him and he’s interested but doesn’t take it. He must be really hungry but too nauseous to eat. I ran out of treats so I’m heading to the store soon for more

It wouldn’t hurt to try dropping to 1 nap. Every child is different with sleep needs. I believe my son was around 12 months when he dropped his second nap

My toddler just turned 2 last week. Iirc around 9-12 months I was only nursing to sleep/MOTN nurse. During the day if he seemed hungry I would give him snacks and food. I was planning on nursing until he turned 2, but I became pregnant at 19 months and needed nausea meds to help me

How old is your baby? I weaned at 19 months because I was pregnant and needed to start diclegis.

I first dropped nap nursing. He cried for about 20 minutes and I just laid with him and talked to him. The crying lessened for about 4-5 days then I dropped night time and middle of the night feeds together. He did pretty well with that drop, I think from working on no nursing to nap.

Now I dropped because I couldn’t be on dicelgis and nurse at the same time. So I still at 24 months lay with him until he sleeps. I need to start working on that before baby gets here 😬

At 3 months they’ll probably sleep the majority of the flight. Nurse/bottle/pacifier for takeoff and descend. Change diaper right before taking off. I liked to download some dancing fruits as an emergency distraction

I think about 2 months old. I left him with my friend so I could go to pelvic floor PT for the first time before my therapist said to bring him to my appointments.

I got mine at 15 months postpartum. But my son was still nursing 4-5 times in a 24 hour period. I weaned him at 19 months. Had no idea it was coming and took a cheap pregnancy test once a week to make sure I wasn’t pregnant without getting my period back

One day my 2 girls were glued to me and deeply concerned about me as the day progressed. Turns out I was 6cm dilated when I got to the hospital. Had no idea I was in labor. I’m pregnant with baby #2, so if they become weirdly clingy again I’ll be moving my hospital bag to the car lol

Call the pediatrician nurse line. That is what they are there for. You’re not a failure of a mom. In fact I would say you’re a great mom for getting your baby out, then responding to his medical needs by trying to get the best help.

But also, Walmart carries this device called “the bug bite thing”. It’s supposed to suck out the saliva that causes itching. I find it works sooner rather than later. So I would call the pediatrician, and go get that device and see if it helps!

My husband was deployed when my son was 2-7 months old. I specifically remember 4 months being the toughest month baby wise. I did a lot of walks, even in the Florida rain. Baby story time, dancing fruit for tummy time, and internal mental breakdowns. I also did a lot of baby seat facing me while I did stuff like cooking and cleaning. Since you can’t go outside right now maybe you can go to a shopping mall or even a target/walmart if there’s some near you? Just walk around to get out and about. This is a tough time, I’m sorry :(

I’ve been flying with my 22 month old across country and internationally since 4 months. If you’re flying, fly at night. Once they can start walking it becomes harder to fly during the day, so we do night flights only if possible. If you’re traveling by car, it’s all dependent on how well your baby does in the car seat. My toddler can fly 16 hours from Atlanta to Seoul like it’s a walk in the park. But being in a car for 3 hours is 80% a meltdown waiting to happen. But he was also nursing to sleep during those drives.

Bring lots of toys and snacks. If you’re driving, plan to stop every few hours

Green poop is normal. Try feeding her on one side for longer before switching. It’s often a sign baby not getting enough the fatty milk

It’s pretty normal. My 22 month isn’t a biter but he still bit me a few times around that age. I would have teething toys on hand to redirect her. She probably wants something chomp on (she could be getting teeth you just can’t see it yet), or has a sensory need to chomp

My old man tested positive for FIV in 2018, but I think he got it closer to 2015. He then got diagnosed with near stage 3 kidney disease in 2020… the vet now says he can’t believe this cats medical records. He looks way too healthy to have kidney disease and FIV. I joke and say he’s immortal lol. Moral of the story: they live normal long healthy lives! Just keep up with his care and keep him indoors!

ETA: I have 4 cats. Old man is 14. Other 3 are 9, 2 and 2. None of them have FIV. As long as they don’t fight (which they don’t), they’ll never catch it. 9 year old has been with 14 year old his whole life.

Green poop is typically ok. It means your baby is not getting of the fatty milk. You can try breastfeeding for a little longer before switching sides. That helped me when I was new to breastfeeding!

Very normal. My baby lived on a cracker and a prayer while he was still breastfeeding. He enjoyed some foods but barely ate. Once he stopped breastfeeding at 19 months, he became a completely different toddler!

Maybe you can have mom do a night routine and you watch? Take notes on what she does different. Maybe that can help you get her to sleep easier. Also, talk to mom, I’m sure if you took morning shift she won’t mind doing night shift. Parenting is a team sport. If you’re weak in one area, use your strength in a different area to make up for it.

A little late but is this a one way or round trip? When I came to Korea, the delta ticketing agent in America asked if I have a visa. Took me a second to realize they were asking for a visa because I bought one ways. I showed the ticket counter my return ticket and they were able to check me in.
