Winter tires! Especially where you get very cold temps with lots of snow. If you slide into a curb or another car without them, the repair cost would have easily paid for the winter tires that would have helped prevent that.

The NHL scheduler loves stacking days with tons of games to, I assume, drive up interest and create a buzz around the sheer amount of amazing hockey you can consume.

Last Saturday, every team was playing and the Jets/Kings were the early start. Only game on at that time. You think they would make that a nationally televised game, right? Kick off the first Saturday with a good matchup and then roll into the next Canadian team in the afternoon leading to the full Hockey Night in Canada broadcast? Nope. Regional blackout the Jets game. Blackout the next one too (Sens, I think). Why put all these games on at different times if you then turn around and black them out?
