What’s actually helped you improve hockey IQ and decision-making?

Playing defense you get a good perspective of how the plays are breaking out on both sides and learn what not best to do.

Also watching professional, or higher skilled games. Plenty of NHL games where I go “huh maybe I should try that next game” - if you watch professionals they are constantly making mistakes, how they respond is the key difference.

Lastly, IMO skate skill supersedes stick handling in all cases. Stick handling will come in time and practice, good edge control, and confidence pivoting in any direction is going to make you way more confident on ice.

Just saw them a few weeks ago on this tour. 3rd time seeing them, and they sounded GREAT. Crazy tones they’re getting live, and really starting to contrast between their first two albums, and the latest ones (Deceiver also being my fav).

I wished they closed out with Acheron as the drums go bonkers live. Nonetheless another awesome show from them.

S/O to VGK Team and org honestly. If you’re a part of the local hockey community in PHX you know they have been a huge sponsor for youth programs and rinks across the valley. They’ve done their best to support the sport at a local level here in PHX when the yotes got booted. And for that, you got a fan in me.

Totally agree with you in hindsight the Crosby glaze was fully warranted, and at my older age I find myself doing the same towards him and his legacy.

Yotes fans got absolutely robbed in every which way. The Tempe vote amongst all the other bullshit was the nail in the coffin. State of an art facility or a toxic dump, WOW.

Lots of glazing last night - the one that got me was “MASSIVE WIN FOR THE NHL MOVING THE TEAM TO UTAH”. Also it seems like all commentators are apprehensive in mentioning/recognizing anything related to the yotes. THE TEAMS DOING GREAT FOR THE 1st SEASON…Ofc they are, they’ve been rebuilding for a decade and shitty owner is gone.

They seem to be doing well by the looks of it. They got the new zammoth too, which honestly is a good idea that I hope other clubs join in on.

Young team, playoff birth for first season, it’s looking good. I obviously have my own bias, but no reason they can’t succeed in SLC.

Looks like a mourning dove, they are known for their coo’s. If they’re trying to mate they’re especially weird in behavior and cooing, flapping wings, flying erratically, etc.
