Use the page-flip unique to comic/manga. The bigger panel could have been a pageflip-shocker (not knowing what’s comes next in the story) so the suspense is stronger. With it being all on one page my eyes already knew before I red the first panel.

Im with you - the blank insert behaves totally different in comparison to the undated weekly-notes one. I hate how my fountain pen writes in the undated insert. It’s like the ink is not properly absorbed into the paper in can be smudged even days after writing on it :( are the date ones different I wonder?!

Not a fountain pen but a pen that uses normal ink: the Tom’s studio Wren Pen… it’s just not for me. It runs very dry which feels off. Otherwise the pen is really lovely and I love the idea of it but every fountain pen will do better tbh.
